Pakistan faced many problems after independence, including refugees from partition, disputes over the Indus river water, and the accession of princely states. It struggled from one crisis to another trying to overcome these threats. Pakistan was created after the partition of British India in 1947, which caused massive population transfers and loss of life as millions of Muslims migrated from India to Pakistan and Hindus/Sikhs migrated from Pakistan to India.

2. Post Independence Problems
Pakistan was carved out in desperate urgency. It came
into existence with horrible loss of life and property, and
the migration of millions of dazed and destitute men,
women, and children. The cost was heavy in terms of
human suffering. But what the Muslims wanted and what
they achieved was a homeland of their own. They now
had the freedom to worship, practice their religious faith
and develop their culture. Moreover, Independence had
opened up a bright future for the Muslims, who hoped for
a better standard of living, economic development,
prosperity and a fuller life.

3. Main Problem’s during Partition
Pakistan had been struggling from one major crisis to
another, fighting to ward off the multiple problems that
threatened the nation.

4. Third Muslim Leader (1150 – 1206)
Sultan Muhammad Shahab-ud-din Ghori
Sultan Muhammad Shahab-ud-din was born in 1150. He
was the younger brother of Ghiasuddin and son of Sultan
Bahaudin Suri of Ghure. After Mehmood Ghaznavi the next
invader in India was Muhammad Ghori. He belonged to
the Ghorid dynasty which replaced the Ghaznavids in
Afghanistan. After the death of Mehmood Ghaznavi, he
was the first Turkish who invaded India; after a long period
of 150 years.

5. Qutb-ud-din Aibak (AD 1206–
1210)
Qu b-ud-din Aibak is known in history as the founder of theṭ
slave dynasty and it is believed that the dynasty derives its
name from Qutb-ud-din who was originally a slave. But it is
also true that before accession, Qutb-ud-din had received
the letter of manumission from his master (Mohammad
Ghori) and came to accession as an independent ruler.
When Mohammad Ghori died in 1206 A.D. He left no male
heir to succeed him. So it was the desire of Mohammad
Ghori, that Qutb-ud-din succeeded him and his formal
accession took place on 24th
June, 1206.
