16. Letter from Outgoing President of Student Council
DISHA SRINIVAS
I was fortunate enough to represent our college and win 1st place in a National level research paper competition and 1st
place in national level Bplan competition along with my respective teams, we have represented the college in various
InternationalLevelandNationalLevelcompetitionalongwithparticipatinginvariousintercollegiatefests.
I would like to thank all the teaching and non teaching staff for their endless support and most importantly all my fellow

By the time I reached the final year, I was the Head Co-Ordinator of Ankura, Student Editor of the Magazine committee,
Co-ordinator for Lakshya, the Commerce and Management Forum and a member of Anveshana the Research Cell and finally
the President of the Student Council 2021-22. All this was possible with constant efforts and mentorship by my teachers and
respectiveforumconvenors.
Finally in conclusion, if someone told me that college would be this amazing and fun initially when I joined it, I would
probably laugh it out. But now in reality I wholeheartedly believe that I did the right thing by joining here. No wonder our
college is one of the best not only in the state but also the country. Got to make so many wonderful memories and had such a
greatexperienceincollegewhichwillremainevergreenforme.
I am grateful for the management for providing the necessary infrastructure, guidance and support which in turn helped us
toachieveour academicandprofessionalgoals.
Being a part of the Council gave me recognition which helped me improve for the better. I made sure that no opportunity
was wasted and learned something beneficial out of it. All the Council members were unique, talented and were elected from

A small message to future student council from my end is- make the best of all the opportunities provided by the college
and enjoy your college days because it is not coming back. Be considerate of others as we all are interrelated and
interdependenton eachother.
And that was the beginning of my personal growth in college. It taught me to stay humble yet to be confident in myself. It
boostedmycommunicationskillsandalso,Igottomakealotofnewfriends.
I made sure that I get to enjoy my college days to the fullest. So participated in most of the co-curricular actives like mono
acting, debate and essay competitions, also was a part of the college team for women volleyball and table tennis. I also had an
amazing experience by getting to host different events for the college and also by anchoring several programmes and giving
speeches.
Ihopeyou alloutperformus. Allthebest!!!Do well.
My journey with Seshadripuram College has been an amazing one better than I could ever imagine. Entering into a new
college was pretty scary for me because I had to socialize and make new friends cause I literally knew no one. And the best way
tomakenewfriendsandgetacquaintedwithpeoplewas by beingapartofanyoftheforums orcommitteeswhichIresortedto.
We got to work with a lot of faculties and students of different departments which allowed us to keep an open mind while

17. Letter from the Outgoing Secretary of Student Council
PRANAV J.
Growing up, socializing was never my cup of tea. I was and had always been the type of guy who enjoyed floating in his
littlebubbleandbouncingaroundthesmallcirclesoffriendsIhadmanagedtomake.
I aspired to be a person who had the confidence to talk to anyone and be approachable by anyone while doing what I needed
to do to achieve my dreams. When I joined Seshadripuram College I was not afraid to step out of my comfort zone but was
intimidated to take the first step. I spent the first month of college being the same person. Talking to 3 people, attending my
classes, maintaining my notes, and heading home was my routine. This changed when I decided to attend the orientation
program conducted by LAKSHYA – The Commerce and Management Forum'. I still vividly remember my seniors sharing
their experience about participating in management fests in other colleges and their experiences organising our Annual
CommerceandManagementFest CRUXx.
Having now organized a CRUXx in 2022, as one of the heads of the forum along with my friends, teammates, juniors, and
professors, I can say I have lived a fulfilling 3 years of college and I can only thank Seshadripuram College and its management
for givingstudentsthelibertyandtheopportunitytoconductsuchanamazingevent.
Along with organising, the Commerce and Management Forum involved participating in fests conducted by other
colleges and universities. These fests were crucial in sparking a change in me. I was put on spot and grew comfortable in
meeting strangers. I learned how to think on the fly. Seshadripuram College has made me the person I am right now and have
helped me set my eyes on a goal and pave my path to the goal. The college's encouragement changed me for the better. I
undoubtedlycreditthemfortheconfidentandoutspokenindividualIamtoday.
Its again credit to Seshadripuram College's management for giving us the infrastructure and the resources required to
publishamonthlymagazineofthatscaleandhelpingus createanimpacttothealumninetworkofthecollege.
Along with the two committees, I had the opportunity to be a part of the Students' Council. I was elected as the Student
Council Secretary for the academic year 2021-22. Being part of the Students' Council definitely put me in a position where I
hadalotmoreresponsibilitieson myshoulders, buttheseresponsibilitiesdidnothingbutmakemeabetterperson.
All the committees, forums, clubs, and councils that I have been a part of have made me into the person I am. The
responsibilities helped me inculcate habits that have moulded me into who I am. The advice I'd like to give to my juniors is to
grab every opportunity there is. From a timid boy to a person who can confidently address a huge gathering, its all due to the
opportunities the college provided, the people you meet through these opportunities and how you utilize them. Its important for
you to take that first step and initiate a learning curve. The whole process of being in college is to gain knowledge, experience
and to holistically develop yourself. I hope you personally and we as a college soar to new heights. All the best to everyone for
theirfuture.
'The Seshadripuram Monthly', the monthly magazine, was another huge factor in paving me into the person I am. 'The
Seshadripuram Monthly' or TSM by The Seshadripuram College Old Students Association (SCOSA), was an initiative taken
to have better engagement with the college's alumni and to give students of the college a platform to express their opinions,
experiences,andknowledge.
