IOT Agricultural system
The world’s farming population is growing older. As young people increasingly choose city
life and are moving away from farms, how can we control problems such as food scarcity and
world hunger?
Farmlands are getting less attention and getting more unproductive every year. To address this
issue smart farming and farm monitoring solutions come in very handy. We made an IOT
agricultural system and bagged 1st prize in a competition. Our project was able to give live
statistics on soil moisture, temperature and humidity of the farm on a mobile app. We also
incorporated several security features like fire detection for accidental fires and motion
detection for sensing presence of unknown entries in the land like robbers. It allow us to
remotely irrigate the farmland from the app.
All these wonders could be done on a mobile app anywhere throughout the world with a
connection to the internet.

HOME Automation Project
On an average, 5% to 20% electricity is wasted every month in almost every household, not
only does it increase the electricity bill but also adversely affects the environment as electricity
is mostly made by burning fossil fuels.Smart Home solutions deal with it very efficiently and
sustainably. This project helped in controlling almost every household device from a web app
connected to a local network. We added a door that would open automatically by sensing
people nearby after asking for authorization on the app. We also were able to add fire security
system. We added a functionality to start water pump whenever required just from push of a
button in the app.
