Effects Of The Post World War II On The American South
As the previous chapters indicate, there are numerous extant studies on the post World War II shift in
partisanship in the American South, with several studies published even before the election of
President Kennedy. As such, I know that this will not be the definitive treatment of this subject. Here,
I ask this question, in which is embedded a hypothesis: Did the decline of agriculture in the southern
economy contribute to increased Republican Party strength in the American South? This question, by
its very nature, has to account for the economic prosperity brought by such a dramatic economic
change. After all, when the Twelve Southerners wrote their defense of the southern way of life, the
South was a society of subsistence farmers (Ransom, et al. 1978). People were not used to having
much money. The money one made did not seem to be at the whims of public policy, but rather was
determined by factors outside of politics, such as the weather and blight. But as the economy changed,
so did society; people began to see their wealth in relation to the wealth of others. Subsistence farmers
wanted to have food on the table and maybe some extra crops to sell so they could buy shoes once a
year from a catalogue for their children. Today, work for most southerners takes place in an office or
factory. Farmers still work the land with larger farms, but they no longer are the linchpin of the
economy. If crops fail, southern cities such as Houston and Nashville will not economically

Lymphoma Case Study
Treatment of lymphoma may cause fibrosis and necrosis in lymph nodes which can limit size based
response assessments. In 1999, the IWG criteria commonly known as Cheson criteria, defined five
categories of clinical response based on CT imaging of lesion size for non Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL)
[36]. Original criteria had limitations such as a high variability, the failure to consider 18FDG PET,
immunohistochemistry (IHC) and flow cytometry and the failure to take into account non nodal
disease. Revised criteria by the IWG published in 2007, were applied to NHL and also Hodgkin s
disease [37]. It integrates 18FDG PET, IHC, and flow cytometry into original criteria which adds
more sensitivity to both staging and evaluation of treatment response. ... Show more content on

Lady Macbeth Is Not Evil
According to William Penn, A misery is not to be measured from the nature of the evil, but from the
temper of the sufferer. There are people who are willing to seek their own desires even if they must
attempt diabolical plans to pursue them. Some people can carry on with their evil deeds with
satisfaction, while others will regret their own decisions coming into effect. In the play, Macbeth, evil
deeds had to be met with the main characters in order to achieve their goals for royalty. Despite their
success in gaining their power, there were some characters who could not handle the ongoing
immorality that lurked within them from the start. The main villain, Lady Macbeth, was portrayed as a
cruel person, but her behaviors defined her otherwise. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Her paranoia has come to a point where she suffered from mental illness. This issue was noticed as
she was caught sleep walking while rubbing her hands and commanding her evidence to be forgotten,
saying, Out damned spot! ... What need we fear who knows it, when none can call our power to
accompt? (V, I, 32, 35). Her mental illness proved her guilt knowing she cannot get the memories of
her evil plan out of her head. Unlike a vile person, who would rather ignore their crimes and guilt, she
kept thinking about it in a worried matter. Her mentality eventually led to sorrow. Macbeth
disapproved her feelings about the misdeed as he ordered the doctor to Pluck from the memory of
rooted sorrow / Raze out the written troubles of the brain (V, iii, 41 42). His statement about his wife s
illness insisted that she was distracted by her remorse. The paranoia she faced made her reveal her
repentance and made her less ambitious for royalty. Her emotions over brimmed her mind and
diverted her behaviors negatively. These behaviors worried the doctor when he prayed, Remove from
her the means of all annoyance / And still keep eyes upon her (V, I, 72 73). His assumption of Lady
Macbeth taking her own life foreshadowed her tragic death, proving once again that her guilty
conscience made her snap instead of letting her forget her evil deed. She could no longer handle the
ongoing thoughts that haunted her since the crime despite her

Analysis Of The Book Fresh Fruit, Broken Bodies By...
When thinking of Mexican American immigrants, what comes to mind? The American public
consistently listens to the media telling stories of how these people cross the border illegally, which is
deemed as a crime. Immigrants are portrayed just as stealing American jobs and benefiting from
government programs such as welfare. Countless people think it was a voluntary action for them to
come to the United States, therefore whatever comes their way is what they deserve regardless if it is
health problems, racism or low paying jobs. However, what most of American people don t realize is
that the majority of Mexican migrants are forced to migrate to the United State in order to survive.
They constantly risk their lives to cross a dangerous border in order to find the jobs that the American
people don t want to endure. In the book called Fresh Fruit, Broken Bodies , the author, Seth Holmes
focuses on the lives of an indigenous Mexican group called the Triquis. Throughout the book, he
focuses on the journey of the group from their hometown of Oaxaca to farms in California and
Washington. The book also emphasizes how racism and health problems of migrant workers have
become invisible to the American people. It is commonly seen that their personal damage such as
health problems and placement on the social hierarchy system is only to be blamed on their sole
decision to come to a country where they are considered illegal. Instead of blaming the Triqui people
for their sickness, Holmes

Willy Loman Death Of A Salesman Essay
The Two Willy Lomans in Arthur Miller s Death of a Salesman
There are two Willy Lomans in The Death of a Salesman. There is the present broken, exhausted man
in his sixties, soon to end his life. And there is the more confident, vigorous Willy of some fifteen
years before, who appears in the flashbacks. One actor portrays both, readily shifting from one
representation to the other. To some extent, of course, the personality remains constant. The younger
Willy, although given to boastful blustering, does admit misgivings to Linda and loneliness to Biff.
And the shattered older man, in turn, occasionally reverts to his former manner of jaunty optimism.
Yet the changes are great and significant. The earlier Willy could never have been ... Show more

At this point, however, relations are strained. Although Willy shies away from remembering so painful
an episode, he knows in his heart that the Boston affair left the boy bitterly disillusioned. Feeling some
sense of guilt, Willy fears that all of Biff s later difficulties may have been really attempts to get
revenge. Biff has failed, in other words, mainly to spite Willy. Although outwardly resenting such
alleged vindictiveness. Willy still wants to get back the old comradeship, even if he has to buy it
dearly. Why can t I give him something, he asks the spectral Ben, and not have him hate me? And his
great final moment of joy and triumph occurs when he can exclaim, Isn t that remarkable? Biff he
likes me!
On the other hand, Willy also is emotionally involved with Biff because his son s success or failure is
also his. By becoming rich and influential, the handsome, personable Biff was slated to provide Willy
s victorious reply to all not sufficiently impressed with his own modest advancement. By making his
fortune in the business world, Biff would prove that Willy had been right in turning down Ben s
adventurous challenge to head for Alaska. He would also outshine the sensible, plodding Charley and
Bernard, thus establishing once and for all Willy s theory that having personality and being well liked
were the great requisites for preeminence. Losing his own job, Willy is naturally unhappy. But if he

Pros And Cons Of Assisted Suicide
Debate Paper
On the positive side of assisted suicide, it is strongly believed that the right to assisted suicide allows
the terminally ill to have a clean and fair death. No one wants to live with pain and sorrow. From their
perspective, doctor s help the suffering and terminally ill to die when they choose is nothing wrong.
From what they had argued, the First Amendment to the United States Constitution allows people the
right to freedom of speech, press, petition, religion. With this logic, it would be reasonable to believe
that you are allowed to have the right to die. The right to assisted suicide can help the patients with the
terminally ill to release from pain and suffering, reduce the damaging financial effects of hospital care
on their families, and preserve the individual right of people to determine their own fate.
However, on the negative side of the assisted suicide debate, It is argued that a physician s goal is to
help their patient get the proper care and help they need in order to get better and heal; it should not be
through killing them. From Procon.org, In Compassion in Dying v. State of Washington, it was stated
that physician assisted suicides acts as a slippery slope to those who aren t terminally ill and will take
advantage of it. Once we allow assisted suicides, it opens the way to offering it to people who are no
longer mentally competent. And then to people who are in distress but not terminally ill. So this is
saying that if anyone suffered

ragedy developed rapidly throughout the Renaissance and, although Marlowe was an innovator in the
form, his works often seemed schematic and unsophisticated in comparison to later, more advanced
plays. Julia Briggs argues that the drama developed into an exact and sensitive register of the age s
central issues: the relative of moral judgment, the unstable nature of language and character, and the
individual s challenging position in relation to the universe. Tragedy presented itself as a form which
matched the expression and subversion of typical Elizabethan issues, partly because the relationship
that is established between audience and stage. Instead of exercising the didacticism of the earlier
morality plays, Tamburlaine the Great invites the audience to judge its moral.

the attraction of the earthly crowne, so Marlowe remains an ineffective saboteur fighting a doomed

essential quality of this order. It is transience that dictated the success of his plays, the nature of his
rebellion and the circumstances of his death. The point at which Marlowe s lines become mighty is

Advantage And Disadvantage Of E-Books

A standard report to provide more books and reading materials rather than invest in new technology.
1.0 Introduction
As a librarian of the Open University Malaysia, I had read an excerpt from an online education article
recently about how new technology had transformed the way we live, especially from the education
aspect. The investment of new technology such as e books and e journals had made library more easily
accessible. The shift from traditional library to e library do transform its usability, yet the benefits still
debatable.
Current study had revealed that the majority of university libraries spend less than six percent of their
acquisition funds on e books. This clearly stated that there are factors hinder the acceptance of e books
or any online reading materials. One of the factors that make libraries reluctant to divert resources to
this new platform is that it required a huge investment funds.
This funds is needed to provide gadgets such as free computers access to Internet. Internet has to be
upgraded so that students are able to access to e books or e journals. E book selection, acquisition, and
management can be complex and expensive too. To shift from a manual system to a technologically
driven system, librarians have to be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

copy and paste. Distraction are anywhere when we access to internet, such as advertisement from the

Journalist Role Analysis
The journalist role is important because it provides the world with facts and the answers. Often times
politicians or public figures may not tell the world the whole truth. But because of journalist, they take
time to investigate the whole story and then provide citizens with correct news. Not only do journalist
investigate the news, journalist also take time to interview these public figures and ask the questions
that viewers want to ask. For example, Barbara Walters is known for her skills of asking the questions
that most are scared to ask. But because she is fearless and true journalist she asks these tough
questions and gets down to the nitty gritty. This is all made possible through the first amendment.

There are multiple media outlets that provides citizens with a bunch of different perspectives. For
instance, FOX news may give you a more bias opinion on Donald Trump and ABC may give you a
more bias opinion on Hillary Clinton. But because of these two outlets being opposites it gives you a
well rounded view of the election as a whole. Not only do we have national networks covering the
election we also have black media outlets like Bet News, TheGrio, The Root and many more that
provide African Americans with the black perspective on voting. Because of these outlets they let us
know the truth on who we should cast our ballot for in this upcoming election. They also ask the
questions that we as a community have but may not have the direct access to ask personally.
Furthermore, I believe Social Media plays an awesome role in the election because it lets citizens
know information right away. Because of social media, in the matter of seconds we are made aware of
breaking news. Social media also makes it harder for nominees to hide from the truth. People can
instantly tweet and video record what the nominees say and post on social media. Because of this it
helps keep viewers/citizens

The Third Wave Feminism
There are three waves of feminism. The first wave (1830 s early 1900 s) emphasized on legal issues
and gaining political power including the right to vote to bring gender equality. The second wave
(1960 s 1980 s) stressed on broadening the discussions to a wider range. They focused on the work
place, sexuality, family, reproductive rights, domestic violence and marital rape issues. The third wave
(1900 s present) expands the topic of feminism to include women with varied identities and a response
to the failures of movements by second wave feminism. Rebecca Walker coined the term third wave
feminism in an essay Becoming the Third Wave (1992). In the introduction to idea of third wave
feminism in Manifesta authors Jennifer Baumgardner and Amy Richards suggest that feminism can
change with every generation and individual. Feminists have long criticised the institution of
marriage. They stated that marriage leads to oppression of women and their rights curtailed. The
gender inequality is judged from the fact that mostly women take up domestic and caring work and
they get paid less than men for outside work. Traditionally, all men give speech and the women
surrender her name to take her husband s name. As a high profile couple, Jean Paul Sartre and Simone
de Beauvoir always expressed opposition to marriage. Brian Sawyer in his post published in
November 2003 wrote Marriage, understood existentially, proposes to join two free selves into one

What I Have Majored And Systems Engineering ( Ise ) For...
Personal Statement
I have majored in Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) for one and a half years at Virginia Tech.
My passion for ISE originated from my undergraduate studies. I achieved GPA 91/100 and ranked
1/66 when I graduated from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), one of
China s top 3 universities offering the Industrial Engineering program.
When I got into NUAA, I entered an Honors Program, which offers students a chance to choose their
majors according to academic interests after two years of studying. In my first summer vacation, I
volunteered to be a teacher in a school at the far west of Tibet. With houses scattered over a radius of 7
miles and only one school in this area, children have to travel several kilometers through mountains to
school. Our team met many problems. For example, how to visit students homes in the shortest routes.
We did not find a way out at that time. However, I never forgot to find simple and effective solutions.
To my great delight, in the Operations Research (OR) course I took after the summer vacation, I found
that the Travelling Salesman Problem were so similar to problems we met at Tibet. Got inspired by the
algorithms, I designed a project named Application of OR Methods to Education Volunteering. This
project used Ant Colony Optimization to optimize home visiting routes covering 8 villages, Hungarian

Survey of Cognitive Remediation Practices for Individuals with Schizophrenia: Implementation and
Barriers
Schizophrenia is a severe and chronic mental illness characterized by substantial cognitive, emotional
and perceptual deficits. The symptoms and dysfunctions of schizophrenia manifest themselves in
varying states of severity across individuals but are often associated with high rates of mortality,
substance abuse, and co morbidity with other mental disorders. In addition to earlier mortality rates
(Crump, Winkleby, Sundquist Sundquist, 2013), symptoms of schizophrenia often interfere with one s
ability to function and perform daily tasks. Cognitive impairment (CI) has specifically been identified
as a critical barrier to functional recovery for individuals and as a result, cognitive remediation (CR)
programs are increasingly employed as treatment interventions to address these issues. Empirical
support for the benefits of CR on cognition in schizophrenia is growing; however, the best

The Circus Maximus was the oldest and the largest of all the circuses where chariot races took place

Some people in the crowd looked for powerful beauty of the stallions, the richness of their
accoutrements, perfection of their training and all the agility and bravery of the drivers and riders.
Some people watched it because they gambled money into it. A few minorities hated chariot racing. A
Roman called Pliny is one of them. He couldn t understand the appeal of the circus. Chariot races but I
am not the least bit interested in that kind of entertainment. He explains his point of view by saying
There s never anything new or different. He s amazed by the amount of people who watch it and
thinks those people are childish. I am amazed that so many thousands of men time after time have
such as childish desire to see horses and men driving chariots. He thinks if spectators watch the beauty
and running of the horses, then that would be good but complains that isn t the case. They are only
interested in the winning horse. If they were attracted by the speed of the horses or the skill of the
drivers, this would not be unreasonable. But as it is, they are interested only in team uniforms.
Spectators wouldn t care about the driver or horse but only the colour of the tunic they were wearing

Customer Service Tips
I am standing in a crowded grocery store where every register is packed, and I have just spent the last
hour bagging five cartfuls of groceries. The groceries are bagged and placed into the customer s car,
and then I wait for the tip. The customer walks up, says Thank you, and drives away. Now all that is
left for me to do is walk right back into the store and hope for better next time. This is a common
scene I go through working in a DECA Commissary where the baggers work for tips only. Tips are a
common method of pay in the service industry to compensate employees partially or in full for their
services. Tips may be common, but this does not mean they are fair. Tips can be an immensely unfair
system which allows a business to cut corners ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, this is not always true; a customer s discrimination or unwillingness to tip can counteract
any good impression an employee may make. A customer s tip will often be determined by how much
they like an employee rather than the quality of their work. Tips may even be influenced by the worker
s appearance and the customer s personal prejudices. In addition, since tipping is not required, many
people will not tip, no matter how good the service is. All of this means hard work may not ensure
decent pay. Instead, a business should give an employee a raise for good performance which is likely
to amount to more than tips would. Supporters also sometimes claim that more money can be made
through tips than a business would otherwise pay. In practice, however, I have rarely seen this happen.
A good day of tips at the commissary is not enough to make up for several poor days and almost never
brings my average pay for a week to more than minimum wage.
Tips are still a common method of payment, but certainly not a good one. The flaws of tipping include
being undependable, allowing customers to discriminate, and falling short of a minimum wage. It
would be far better for these workers to be paid a fair living

Anarchist Communism Like Me Analysis
To be quite honest, I don t have much understanding of the election but knowing Hilary Clinton and

Anarchist Communism, which is the lower left corner of the quadrant and is described as someone
with more commitment to each other. This is similar to Hillary s political views than Donald Trump s,
as Hillary believed which I quote when unions are strong, families are strong and America is strong ,
which I agree with 100% as we need each other. As a society we need each other to help make a better

Analysis Of Santa Clause Is Coming To Town
The song, Santa Claus is Coming to Town is a very happy and cheerful song that is played during the
month of December to bring out the Christmas spirit in people. The history behind it is how two men
got their big break and made one of the most played Christmas songs of all time. The song was
originally written by John Frederick Coots and composed by Haven Gillespie on October 1933.
Gillespie was in charge of expressing his gift of writing children s song lyrics while Coots came up
with the tune that caught the attention of young children. The two came up with the song while riding
a subway car in New York. The two men had a masterpiece in their hands, but needed someone to
produce it. Many artists passed on the song because they didn t believe the it would hit big on the
charts and would be difficult to sell, especially since it was a song for kids. Coots at the time was a
writer for Eddie Cantor and tried to persuade him to sing the song live on his radio station. Cantor was
undecided on whether to sing it, but his wife eventually convinced him to give the song a chance. He
ended up performing it live on November 1934 on his radio station and brought huge publicity to the
song. After it was aired on the radio station, the song blew up. People from all over were requesting to
hear the song over and over again. It sold over 400,00 copies and 300,00 of those were sold within the
first 24 hours. The song made the writers millionaires with hundreds of copies being sold. It

Giuliano della Rovere, aforementioned nephew of Sixtus IV fled to France shortly after Alexander VI
s ascension to the papal throne. From there he slowly gained support on top of the influence and
wealth he already had in Rome. In 1503, he returned to the Vatican for the conclave that followed
Alexander VI s death. For the second time, his attempt at the papal seat failed when the cardinals
chose Cardinal Francesco Todeschini Piccolomini, nephew of Pius II and a renowned man of virtue as
the new pontiff who then took the name of Pius III. The newly elected pope died twenty six days later.
In this conclave, Giuliano finally succeeded in gathering enough votes for his claim of the papal seat .

Large areas in Romagna had fallen outside the jurisdiction of the papacy or claimed by Venice after
Alexander VI s death. In 1508, the circumstances forced Julius II to create the League of Cambrai or
more melodramatically known as the Holy League, an anti Venetian alliance between the papacy,
Louis XII, who then ruled Milan, Emperor Maximilian I, and Ferdinand II of Spain, who was king of
Naples. The league troops defeated Venice in May 1509 near Cremona, and the Papal States were
restored.
Although the League was initially successful, by 1510, King Louis XII was regarding Pope Julius II as
a greater threat than Venice. For that reason, France changed sides in the war and allied itself with
Venice. Not long after, Venice submitted to Julius II and allied itself with the papacy against France.
Following a year of fighting over the Romagna, during which the Veneto Papal alliance was
repeatedly defeated, the Pope proclaimed a Holy League against the French in October of 1511. This
league rapidly grew to include England, Spain, and the Holy Roman Empire.
In 1512, Julius II successfully drove French across the Alps, but it was at the cost of the occupation of
Northern Italy by other powers, and Julius II, though he had secured the papal authority in the states
immediately around Rome, was essentially as far as ever from realizing his dream of an

My Country, Saudi Arabia, is Face Many Problems
Although my country is facing a lot of internal and external challenges, it remains steadfast, thanks to
the wise policy that instilled confidence in our hearts, but there are some problems that can happen in
a lot of developed countries, such as environmental , social and educational problems. Solving these
problems helps to push vehicle of progress and civilization forward , so I will talk about three
problems face my country .
The first problem environmentally is dust storms. In the last ten years, a rate of dust storms in Saudi
Arabia has been increased. For example, Statistics indicate that it has compiled by Salih Rubaiaan,
who is a historian , that proportion of dust increased from eight days in 1983 to 82 days in 2007,
meaning that sandstorms increased by eight times what it was in 1983. Reasons for the increasing due
to a lack of rainfall as the main reason, but there are others, such as: overgrazing, receding green
space; loss of a large number of trees that is buffer dust, and wars in neighboring region. The military
mechanisms led to crack solid layers that formed over time, so environmental damages are health and
economic problems. The health problem is increasing incidence of allergic diseases, asthma and eye
diseases. In a report to Ministry of Health says that number of patients and visitors to hospital
emergency departments in Riyadh region are more than 700 cases daily due to dust storms. The

Religious Conflict Between The Nazis And Jehovah s Witnesses
Religious Conflict between the Nazis and Jehovah s Witnesses In World War 2 many religions were
being persecuted and punished because of their perceived racial inferiority : Roma (Gypsies), the
disabled, and some of the Slavic peoples (Poles, Russians, and others). Other groups were persecuted
on political, ideological, and behavioral grounds, among them Communists, Socialists, Jehovah s
Witnesses, and homosexuals, states The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum . Jehovah s
Witnesses were persecuted for the reason that they did not follow the Nazi s ways and did not fight in
the war with or against them. Many died because the Nazis would shoot them, put them in hot
furnaces, or gas rooms where they would put a poisonous gas in a room where some witnesses were
locked up in and eventually died in the poisonous room. In the concentration camps, the only way to
be free and leave the concentration camp was to sign a paper saying that they will convert and become
a follower of the Nazis. There was one experience that was really surprising to many. One of the
leaders of a concentration camp had lined up some of Jehovah s Witnesses to see who will convert to a
Nazi. Very few said that they will and so once the leader saw who will convert and who would not he
said, Those who said that they will convert and follow Hitler will be killed because how can we trust

The Movie Les Miserables ( 2012, United Kingdom )
This project focuses on the movie Les Misérables (2012, United Kingdom). The film is an epic
romantic musical directed by Tom Hooper. As a film, Les Misérables is based on a musical by Claude
Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil that goes by the same name (Les Misérables) and is also based
upon Victor Hugo s French novel Les Misérables, 1862 (Shoard n.p). This analysis looks at various
elements of the movie ranging from the themes used in the film, its genre, artistic movement, the
director s style and the film s representation on its country s culture.
The movie tells the story of an ex convict by the name of Jean Valjean. Mr. Valjean resorts to change
his life after getting inspiration from a kind hearted pastor. He ends up being a factory owner as well
as a mayor in a one of the town s in France. Even though he is focused on making positive strides, his
past is something he is wary of. Valjean is wary of being recaptured by Monsieur Javert, a ruthless

Causal Case Study Methods: Foundations and Guidelines for Comparing, Matching, and Tracing
In their first book with the University of Michigan Press, Process Tracing Methods: Foundations and
Guidelines (2013), Derek Beach and Rasmus Brun Pedersen not only developed the underlying logic
of process tracing but also provided a practical guide for employing this method in social science
research. Now they do the same for additional causal case study methods, including small n
comparative and congruence methods as well as process tracing.
Causal case study methods have attained a level of maturity where it is no longer necessary to define
methodological foundations and principles merely by how they differ from quantitative, variance
based methods. What social scientists want to know is how causal case study methods differ from
each other with regard to their ontological and epistemological foundations, how to determine which
method is most appropriate for a given research situation, and how to employ the selected method(s),
step by step, from research design through analysis. In Causal Case Study Methods: Foundations and
Guidelines for Comparing, Matching, and Tracing, Beach and Pedersen fill this need.
First, Beach and Pedersen provide a cohesive logical foundation for causal case study methods.

The State Of Lying By William Shakespeare
The state of lying is a convincing art that not many people can pull off effectively. There are different
factors that have to be taken into account in order to consider something as a good lie. In a text, 3
factors that make up a convincing lie are the character and their traits, the situation involved and how
persuasive they are. Speech is a thing of beauty as it can be manipulated in many ways to get people to
believe you. A character s traits allow a person to observe their behavior and how they are able to
manipulate the language. Odysseus is able to use his cunning to manipulate the language into his favor
making the suitors believe that he is indeed a beggar. It s his traits of being wise and cunning that

The person s ability to sway the language in their way against their opponent allows them to
manipulate their minds. There are always liars throughout many texts but what separate them from the
exceptional liars are these factors. A character is often considered strong or weak based on the
language and behavior during the epic or story. That same language along with the person s traits, can
determine whether that character is a great liar or not. In the Odyssey, Odysseus goes to great lengths
to lie and deceive the suitors into thinking he s a beggar. During the fight against the beggar Odysseus
downplays the whole situation by stating Friends, how can an old man, worn down with pain, stand to
a young buck? Its just this belly of mine, this troublemaker, tempts to take a licking. (Od.377.60 63).
Odysseus lie sets up how shrewd he is, allowing the beggar king to believe that he could take on
Odysseus with ease. Odysseus uses his wisdom brilliantly by trying to obtain some sympathy making
him fight someone who is beyond younger then he is. Odysseus knows his character and how wise he
is which allows him to use that to his advantage. He uses his physical appearance as a beggar to
convince the suitors of how poor he was that he needed to beg. Another character who uses their traits
to their advantage is the daughter of Zeus, Helen. Helen, who is the wife of King Menelaus, is the
main point as to why the Trojan war even begun. Her disappearance caused King Menelaus

Torrent Downloads is Piracy
Torrent Downloads
Is copying a digital content and sharing it online count as a crime? Most people will answer No
because people will think they are just copying the same file that they already bought the licenses for
and sharing it to their friends, however, it is going against the copyright law if the company attached a
legal document to inform the user they could not share it for each digital content. Torrent downloads
or what is known on the web Pirate Downloads, works by having a user seeding a particular content to

When I speak about piracy, I mean the act of copying and sharing data online videos, software, music

The Issue Of Sexual Orientation
In the United States of America, 1.8 percent of men and 1.5 percent of women identify themselves as
homosexuals (Volokh 1). This means that in a group of one hundred men, around two of them are
homosexuals, and the same goes for women. The background regarding sexual orientation is vast, and
a lot of different definitions of the concept have been introduced throughout time. Nevertheless,
although homosexuality is fairly common in the United States, many people still misunderstand it.
The different types of sexual orientations and their difference from other sexual related terms, such as
gender role and gender identity, are all confused by the general population. Sadly, even today, there
are people that believe in a right or wrong sexual orientation. Moreover, the origins of sexual
orientation are highly discussed and debated by the scientific community, with theories including
biological and environmental explanations. The importance of such origins resides in the fact that this
nature nurture debate is capable of changing people s perspectives towards homosexuality, and even
though the media has done a great job by transforming any sex related topic from a taboo to an
acceptable conversation point, society still needs to grasp a lot about sexual orientation. Particularly,
the fact that sexual orientation is a complex, largely misunderstood human characteristic resulting
from a combination of biological and environmental factors that play an essential role in society s

problem is keeping up with the hours allocated for each task. This means there is an insufficient
amount of time set aside for software development projects. One might say why not add additional

solution, it has created more problems. Problems such as Fred Brooks pregnant woman mistake, this
problem may be just a common mistake but if there is not enough time to get someone up to speed
with a project, then a deadline will be missed and it could cause individuals and teams to point the
finger of blame at one another (Deadline Stress), which will cause even more issues and delay the

management can increase software costs, then poor managed software projects with insufficient time

Reaction Paper On Deviance
Throughout the semester deviance has been our primary focus of the class, I actually have gotten into
the habit of determining things that I do whether they fall under the spectrum of deviant behavior.
Certain behaviors correlate with certain theories that have been enmeshed into categories. Since many
theories can be grouped together to explain certain behaviors I actually have a few that I am going to
be talking about today. But the main form of deviance that I will be focusing on today is rape.
Emotional numbness, Anxiety, loss of confidence and constant flashbacks are just an array of things
that these young girls will have to deal with for the rest of their lives.
Rape is something that continues to happen not only in the United States, but in every country, and is
continuing to ruin many people s lives. Also there are myths that women and young girls are the main
victims when it comes to rape cases, although there may be many cases that are directed mainly

women to get raped it s easier in a way to report it as to where if it were a male, he may not want to
report it because he would feel demasculinized, and embarrassed. But what if you lived in a country
where rape is considered normal amongst the villagers because young girls , simply had it coming to
them because for some reason they looked at a man or said thank you to them. Obviously she was

Common Software Testing Methodologies Essay
When a web application is developed with some specific goal in mind, those peculiarities which
segregate them from any other software application also affects their testing in several ways. These
changes may result in harder than traditional testing and to accomplish them successfully we need to
employ different testing methodologies. Following are some of the most common testing
methodologies available in the testing domain
Interface testing
Usability testing
Functionality testing
Compatibility testing
Performance testing
Security testing

popular bands of all time. Nirvana was led by a singer named Kurt Cobain, his songs were a kind of
alternative/ rock music (Kiger). Everybody in the nineties loved the band with hit songs like It Smells
Like Teen Spirit, the music focused on the teens and new generation and got the love from all of them

How Is Hawaiian Culture Intertwined
Cultures Intertwined Two cultures intertwined in Hawai i, but which lifestyle will help succeed in the
modern day Hawai i? Hawaiian lifestyle has been with the Islands since the day the Tahitians first
arrived to Hawai i. In the book Hawaiian History, Richard Lighter states traditional hawaiian culture
consists of many life lessons that helped the natives thrive (pg 24). Wealth wasn t redundant by
money; it was weighted by the abundance of food, water, and love. The three things that is needed to
live a healthy life. In Hawai i, there is also a lifestyle that is modernized. This lifestyle is adequate by

Evolutionary Computing Based Approach For Unsupervised...
Abstract Genetic Algorithm (GA) is a stochastic randomized blind search and optimization technique
based on evolutionary computing that has already been proved to be robust and effective from its
outcome in solving problems from variety of application domains. Clustering is a vital technique to
extract meaningful and hidden information from the datasets. Clustering techniques have a broad field
of application including bioinformatics, image processing and data mining. In order to the find the
close association between the densities of data points, in the given dataset of pixels of an image,
clustering provides an easy analysis and proper validation. In this paper, we propose an evolutionary
computing based approach for unsupervised image clustering using elitist GA (EGA) a efficient
variant of GA that segments an image into its constituent parts automatically. The aim of this
algorithm is to produce precise segmentation of images using intensity information along with their
neighbourhood relationships. Experimental results from simulation study reveal that the algorithm
generates good quality segmented image. Keywords Image Clustering, Evolutionary Computing (EC),
Genetic Algorithm (GA), Elitism, Image Segmentation I. INTRODUCTION Clustering is practicable
in various explorative pattern analysis, grouping, decision making, and machine learning
circumstances, including data mining, document retrieval, image segmentation, and pattern
classification [1]. Clustering a set of

Autosomal Dominant Autosomal Recessive Disorder
1. Autosomal dominant genes are modified copies of the gene in a given cell. This is enough for
someone to become affected by an autosomal dominant disorder. The person that inherits the given
disorder would do so from a parent that is also affected by the same gene. Some disorders that fit into
this classification are Huntingtons disease and Marfan syndrome. When a person is affected by an
autosomal recessive disorder, both copies will be mutated in these genes. When a person has been
diagnoses with an autosomal recessive disorder, the parents will each be a carrier of one copy of each
mutated gene, however, they will typically not display any signs of symptoms of having this
condition. Autosomal recessive disorders are not necessarily passed down to each and every
generation, but can also skip generations as it transforms. Some well known diseases that are
autosomal recessive are cystic fibrosis, as well as sickle cell anemia. X linked dominant disorders are
produced by changes of the X chromosome on the gene. Females have two X chromosomes. A
mutation in one of the two copies of the gene of each cell is enough to cause a disorder. Males only
have one X chromosome, so metamorphosis in only one copy of the gene from each cell is a
foundation for the disorder as well. Males can also not pass the gene on to another male, such as their
son. It is also not uncommon for males to experience more severe symptoms or reactions of the
disorder than that of a female. An example

Iago Cheating In Othello
A real relationship will last beyond the rumors. Many would believe the wise person that once said
this was speaking of Othello and Desdemona from William Shakespeare s famous play, Othello. These
two characters were much in love at the beginning of the play, however, Iago, a character seeking
revenge of Othello, twisted the love into hatred as the play moves on. Iago drew the attention of,
allured, and rationalized several reasons why Othello should believe that Desdemona is cheating on
him. All in all, as Iago continues to poison Othello, Othello s mind becomes more and more infected
with lies.
At first, Iago drew Othello s attention towards Cassio, the charming soldier, and Desdemona. He
pointed out that the two had been spending a lot of time together. This is shown in Othello when Iago
says, Ha! I like not that... Nothing, my lord, or if I know not what... Cassio, my lord? No, sure, I
cannot think it that he would steal away so guilty like seeing you coming (3.3.!). Here, Iago purposely
catches the attention of Othello to make him see his wife with his friend, so it will lead Othello to
thinking what they could possibly be doing together. From this, Othello s mind begins to stir and he
begins to realize that his wife and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Desdemona. In Othello, Iago states, Look to t. I know our country disposition well. In Venice they do

undone, but keep t unknown (3.3.!). The woman from Venice are known to having affairs while they
are in other relationships, therefore, there s an even greater chance that Desdemona and Cassio are in a
secret relationship. Hearing this sets Othello over the edge and now all the damage has been done;
Othello sees good reasoning behind this which forces him into believing in this false

Ethnic Groups In The Rohingya
The Rohingya are an ethnic group with majority being Muslim who live in the Buddhist Myanmar.
Often, the Rohingya are called the worlds most persecuted minority. As of today, there are at least 1.1
million Rohingya that currently live in Southeast Asia. The language spoken by the Rohingya is
known as Ruaingga and is very distinct. Out of the 135 ethnic groups in the country they are not
considered one and have continuously been denied citizenship in Myanmar since the year 1982. They
are not allowed to leave without permission from the government.
They are forced to live under harsh conditions such as living in ghetto like camps and lack basic
needs. Due to the threat of persecution and constant violence many have fled to neighboring countries.
during the years of British ruling many laborers migrated to Myanmar from Bangladesh and India.
Many natives to the country thought negatively from the migrators and after independent from the
British government deemed the migration as illegal. this has led to years of un fair treatment to the
Rohingya.
I think it s easy to say that one of the very first issues regarding the Rohingya ethnic group is that they
are denied some of the very basic human rights listed in the UDHR. For example, in Article 1. Article
1 states that all human rights are born free and equal in dignity and rights they are endowed with
reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of Brotherhood. Every day the
Rohingya had to live through

The Core Principles Of Pharmacy
From the beginning footwork of pharmacy in the medical field, a lot of changes have taken place
which in turn set a precedent for the current professional expectations of Pharmacists today. Derived
from the history of pharmacy, educated predications can be made on the presumption that changes are
created to advance and amend the profession. Upon graduating in May 2019, we expect implications
that will take place will be fully implemented by 2029. Although the core principles of pharmacy will
not change, technology and professional recognition will be the major advancements.
In the next four years, we expect the responsibilities of a community pharmacist to change due to
corporate expectations to attain certain numbers and profits. The need for technicians in community
pharmacy will be cut back as time goes on. Directly correlated to this decrease of technicians, the
pharmacist will have to take on the additional duties with the lack of help. The corporations will
benefit from this because it decreases their budget and increases their profit. However, this present
trend will only become worse and create a high pressure environment for the pharmacist. Ultimately,
there will be less time for the pharmacist to consult with the patients. Due to this fact there will be
longer wait periods for receiving drug pick ups, which will negatively impact patient satisfaction. This
can lead patients in the direction of filling their prescriptions through mail order. Mail order already

Hrm 531 Week 4 Paper
The LV team is eager to learn what statistical significance is and why it s an important construct in the
study and use of inferential statistics.
Good Morning LV Team,
The last few weeks we covered descriptive statistic: the central tendency, variability, correlation and Z
score. Today s session is a little bit different, we will be talking about statistical significance.
Statistical significance is the level of risk one is willing to take to reject or accept a null hypothesis
while it is true and it separate random error from systematic error. When doing a study or research, the
statistical significance shows that the difference obtained were not caused by chance. Inferential
statistics, the T test, partition noise from bias by studying a random sample than the population in
which we are interested and from the results we infer. The advantage of using sample than a
population, it is convenient, saves time, energy and money because n is smaller than population and
above all it helps to control systematic and random errors. When we are making a conclusion, we
should have a certain confidence or probability of being right and that is called the alpha level; which
the risk you are willing to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is a significance, but is it practical or meaningful? It depends on the context and circumstance,
therefore, 0.01 is not practical compared to the benefit I gain from buying the California Olive Ranch
brand which is lower in price with better quality (previous study). However, if studies had shown that
the quality was inferior, then 0.01 would be practical significance. Knowing whether the probability is
significance or practical helps us in our decision. If I want to increase the cost of X by 1cent and by
competitors have a lower price with same quality, then it is not practical to increase the cost by a
penny and lose my customer. Do you have any question before we end our

  • 2. Effects Of The Post World War II On The American South As the previous chapters indicate, there are numerous extant studies on the post World War II shift in partisanship in the American South, with several studies published even before the election of President Kennedy. As such, I know that this will not be the definitive treatment of this subject. Here, I ask this question, in which is embedded a hypothesis: Did the decline of agriculture in the southern economy contribute to increased Republican Party strength in the American South? This question, by its very nature, has to account for the economic prosperity brought by such a dramatic economic change. After all, when the Twelve Southerners wrote their defense of the southern way of life, the South was a society of subsistence farmers (Ransom, et al. 1978). People were not used to having much money. The money one made did not seem to be at the whims of public policy, but rather was determined by factors outside of politics, such as the weather and blight. But as the economy changed, so did society; people began to see their wealth in relation to the wealth of others. Subsistence farmers wanted to have food on the table and maybe some extra crops to sell so they could buy shoes once a year from a catalogue for their children. Today, work for most southerners takes place in an office or factory. Farmers still work the land with larger farms, but they no longer are the linchpin of the economy. If crops fail, southern cities such as Houston and Nashville will not economically ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In 1999, the IWG criteria commonly known as Cheson criteria, defined five categories of clinical response based on CT imaging of lesion size for non Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) [36]. Original criteria had limitations such as a high variability, the failure to consider 18FDG PET, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and flow cytometry and the failure to take into account non nodal disease. Revised criteria by the IWG published in 2007, were applied to NHL and also Hodgkin s disease [37]. There are people who are willing to seek their own desires even if they must attempt diabolical plans to pursue them. Some people can carry on with their evil deeds with satisfaction, while others will regret their own decisions coming into effect. In the play, Macbeth, evil deeds had to be met with the main characters in order to achieve their goals for royalty. Despite their success in gaining their power, there were some characters who could not handle the ongoing immorality that lurked within them from the start. The main villain, Lady Macbeth, was portrayed as a cruel person, but her behaviors defined her otherwise. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... What need we fear who knows it, when none can call our power to accompt? (V, I, 32, 35). Her mental illness proved her guilt knowing she cannot get the memories of her evil plan out of her head. Unlike a vile person, who would rather ignore their crimes and guilt, she kept thinking about it in a worried matter. Her mentality eventually led to sorrow. Macbeth disapproved her feelings about the misdeed as he ordered the doctor to Pluck from the memory of rooted sorrow / Raze out the written troubles of the brain (V, iii, 41 42). His statement about his wife s illness insisted that she was distracted by her remorse. The paranoia she faced made her reveal her repentance and made her less ambitious for royalty. • 5. Analysis Of The Book Fresh Fruit, Broken Bodies By... When thinking of Mexican American immigrants, what comes to mind? The American public consistently listens to the media telling stories of how these people cross the border illegally, which is deemed as a crime. Immigrants are portrayed just as stealing American jobs and benefiting from government programs such as welfare. Countless people think it was a voluntary action for them to come to the United States, therefore whatever comes their way is what they deserve regardless if it is health problems, racism or low paying jobs. However, what most of American people don t realize is that the majority of Mexican migrants are forced to migrate to the United State in order to survive. They constantly risk their lives to cross a dangerous border in order to find the jobs that the American people don t want to endure. In the book called Fresh Fruit, Broken Bodies , the author, Seth Holmes focuses on the lives of an indigenous Mexican group called the Triquis. Throughout the book, he focuses on the journey of the group from their hometown of Oaxaca to farms in California and Washington. The book also emphasizes how racism and health problems of migrant workers have become invisible to the American people. It is commonly seen that their personal damage such as health problems and placement on the social hierarchy system is only to be blamed on their sole decision to come to a country where they are considered illegal. Instead of blaming the Triqui people for their sickness, Holmes ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There is the present broken, exhausted man in his sixties, soon to end his life. And there is the more confident, vigorous Willy of some fifteen years before, who appears in the flashbacks. One actor portrays both, readily shifting from one representation to the other. To some extent, of course, the personality remains constant. The younger Willy, although given to boastful blustering, does admit misgivings to Linda and loneliness to Biff. Although outwardly resenting such alleged vindictiveness. Willy still wants to get back the old comradeship, even if he has to buy it dearly. Why can t I give him something, he asks the spectral Ben, and not have him hate me? And his great final moment of joy and triumph occurs when he can exclaim, Isn t that remarkable? Biff he likes me! By becoming rich and influential, the handsome, personable Biff was slated to provide Willy s victorious reply to all not sufficiently impressed with his own modest advancement. By making his fortune in the business world, Biff would prove that Willy had been right in turning down Ben s adventurous challenge to head for Alaska. • 10. Pros And Cons Of Assisted Suicide Debate Paper On the positive side of assisted suicide, it is strongly believed that the right to assisted suicide allows the terminally ill to have a clean and fair death. No one wants to live with pain and sorrow. From their perspective, doctor s help the suffering and terminally ill to die when they choose is nothing wrong. From what they had argued, the First Amendment to the United States Constitution allows people the right to freedom of speech, press, petition, religion. With this logic, it would be reasonable to believe that you are allowed to have the right to die. The right to assisted suicide can help the patients with the terminally ill to release from pain and suffering, reduce the damaging financial effects of hospital care on their families, and preserve the individual right of people to determine their own fate. However, on the negative side of the assisted suicide debate, It is argued that a physician s goal is to help their patient get the proper care and help they need in order to get better and heal; it should not be through killing them. From Procon.org, In Compassion in Dying v. State of Washington, it was stated that physician assisted suicides acts as a slippery slope to those who aren t terminally ill and will take advantage of it. The investment of new technology such as e books and e journals had made library more easily accessible. The shift from traditional library to e library do transform its usability, yet the benefits still debatable. Current study had revealed that the majority of university libraries spend less than six percent of their acquisition funds on e books. The first wave (1830 s early 1900 s) emphasized on legal issues and gaining political power including the right to vote to bring gender equality. The second wave (1960 s 1980 s) stressed on broadening the discussions to a wider range. They focused on the work place, sexuality, family, reproductive rights, domestic violence and marital rape issues. The third wave (1900 s present) expands the topic of feminism to include women with varied identities and a response to the failures of movements by second wave feminism. Rebecca Walker coined the term third wave feminism in an essay Becoming the Third Wave (1992). In the introduction to idea of third wave feminism in Manifesta authors Jennifer Baumgardner and Amy Richards suggest that feminism can change with every generation and individual. Feminists have long criticised the institution of marriage. They stated that marriage leads to oppression of women and their rights curtailed. The gender inequality is judged from the fact that mostly women take up domestic and caring work and they get paid less than men for outside work. Traditionally, all men give speech and the women surrender her name to take her husband s name. A customer s tip will often be determined by how much they like an employee rather than the quality of their work. Supporters also sometimes claim that more money can be made through tips than a business would otherwise pay. In practice, however, I have rarely seen this happen. Analysis Of Santa Clause Is Coming To Town The song, Santa Claus is Coming to Town is a very happy and cheerful song that is played during the month of December to bring out the Christmas spirit in people. The history behind it is how two men got their big break and made one of the most played Christmas songs of all time. The song was originally written by John Frederick Coots and composed by Haven Gillespie on October 1933. Gillespie was in charge of expressing his gift of writing children s song lyrics while Coots came up with the tune that caught the attention of young children. The two came up with the song while riding a subway car in New York. The two men had a masterpiece in their hands, but needed someone to produce it. In 1508, the circumstances forced Julius II to create the League of Cambrai or more melodramatically known as the Holy League, an anti Venetian alliance between the papacy, Louis XII, who then ruled Milan, Emperor Maximilian I, and Ferdinand II of Spain, who was king of Naples. The league troops defeated Venice in May 1509 near Cremona, and the Papal States were restored. Although the League was initially successful, by 1510, King Louis XII was regarding Pope Julius II as a greater threat than Venice. For that reason, France changed sides in the war and allied itself with Venice. Not long after, Venice submitted to Julius II and allied itself with the papacy against France. Following a year of fighting over the Romagna, during which the Veneto Papal alliance was repeatedly defeated, the Pope proclaimed a Holy League against the French in October of 1511. There are different factors that have to be taken into account in order to consider something as a good lie. In a text, 3 factors that make up a convincing lie are the character and their traits, the situation involved and how persuasive they are. Speech is a thing of beauty as it can be manipulated in many ways to get people to believe you. A character s traits allow a person to observe their behavior and how they are able to manipulate the language. The person s ability to sway the language in their way against their opponent allows them to manipulate their minds. There are always liars throughout many texts but what separate them from the exceptional liars are these factors. A character is often considered strong or weak based on the language and behavior during the epic or story. That same language along with the person s traits, can determine whether that character is a great liar or not. In the Odyssey, Odysseus goes to great lengths to lie and deceive the suitors into thinking he s a beggar. During the fight against the beggar Odysseus downplays the whole situation by stating Friends, how can an old man, worn down with pain, stand to a young buck? Its just this belly of mine, this troublemaker, tempts to take a licking. (Od.377.60 63). Odysseus lie sets up how shrewd he is, allowing the beggar king to believe that he could take on Odysseus with ease. Odysseus uses his wisdom brilliantly by trying to obtain some sympathy making him fight someone who is beyond younger then he is. Odysseus knows his character and how wise he is which allows him to use that to his advantage. He uses his physical appearance as a beggar to convince the suitors of how poor he was that he needed to beg. The background regarding sexual orientation is vast, and a lot of different definitions of the concept have been introduced throughout time. Nevertheless, although homosexuality is fairly common in the United States, many people still misunderstand it. The different types of sexual orientations and their difference from other sexual related terms, such as gender role and gender identity, are all confused by the general population. Sadly, even today, there are people that believe in a right or wrong sexual orientation. Moreover, the origins of sexual orientation are highly discussed and debated by the scientific community, with theories including biological and environmental explanations. The importance of such origins resides in the fact that this nature nurture debate is capable of changing people s perspectives towards homosexuality, and even though the media has done a great job by transforming any sex related topic from a taboo to an acceptable conversation point, society still needs to grasp a lot about sexual orientation. Some disorders that fit into this classification are Huntingtons disease and Marfan syndrome. When a person is affected by an autosomal recessive disorder, both copies will be mutated in these genes. When a person has been diagnoses with an autosomal recessive disorder, the parents will each be a carrier of one copy of each mutated gene, however, they will typically not display any signs of symptoms of having this condition. Autosomal recessive disorders are not necessarily passed down to each and every generation, but can also skip generations as it transforms. Some well known diseases that are autosomal recessive are cystic fibrosis, as well as sickle cell anemia. X linked dominant disorders are produced by changes of the X chromosome on the gene. Females have two X chromosomes. A mutation in one of the two copies of the gene of each cell is enough to cause a disorder. Males only have one X chromosome, so metamorphosis in only one copy of the gene from each cell is a foundation for the disorder as well. Males can also not pass the gene on to another male, such as their son. It is also not uncommon for males to experience more severe symptoms or reactions of the disorder than that of a female. • 47. Iago Cheating In Othello A real relationship will last beyond the rumors. Many would believe the wise person that once said this was speaking of Othello and Desdemona from William Shakespeare s famous play, Othello. These two characters were much in love at the beginning of the play, however, Iago, a character seeking revenge of Othello, twisted the love into hatred as the play moves on. Iago drew the attention of, allured, and rationalized several reasons why Othello should believe that Desdemona is cheating on him. All in all, as Iago continues to poison Othello, Othello s mind becomes more and more infected with lies. At first, Iago drew Othello s attention towards Cassio, the charming soldier, and Desdemona. He pointed out that the two had been spending a lot of time together. This is shown in Othello when Iago says, Ha! I like not that... Nothing, my lord, or if I know not what... Cassio, my lord? No, sure, I cannot think it that he would steal away so guilty like seeing you coming (3.3.!). Here, Iago purposely catches the attention of Othello to make him see his wife with his friend, so it will lead Othello to thinking what they could possibly be doing together. From this, Othello s mind begins to stir and he begins to realize that his wife and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He gave good reasoning by explaining how girls are known to cheat, and it has been done by Desdemona. In Othello, Iago states, Look to t. I know our country disposition well. In Venice they do let God see the pranks they dare not show their husbands. Their best conscience is not to leave t undone, but keep t unknown (3.3.!). The woman from Venice are known to having affairs while they are in other relationships, therefore, there s an even greater chance that Desdemona and Cassio are in a secret relationship. • 48. Ethnic Groups In The Rohingya The Rohingya are an ethnic group with majority being Muslim who live in the Buddhist Myanmar. Often, the Rohingya are called the worlds most persecuted minority. As of today, there are at least 1.1 million Rohingya that currently live in Southeast Asia. The language spoken by the Rohingya is known as Ruaingga and is very distinct. Out of the 135 ethnic groups in the country they are not considered one and have continuously been denied citizenship in Myanmar since the year 1982. They are not allowed to leave without permission from the government. They are forced to live under harsh conditions such as living in ghetto like camps and lack basic needs. Due to the threat of persecution and constant violence many have fled to neighboring countries. during the years of British ruling many laborers migrated to Myanmar from Bangladesh and India. Many natives to the country thought negatively from the migrators and after independent from the British government deemed the migration as illegal. this has led to years of un fair treatment to the Rohingya. I think it s easy to say that one of the very first issues regarding the Rohingya ethnic group is that they are denied some of the very basic human rights listed in the UDHR. For example, in Article 1. Article 1 states that all human rights are born free and equal in dignity and rights they are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of Brotherhood. Every day the Rohingya had to live through ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 49. The Core Principles Of Pharmacy From the beginning footwork of pharmacy in the medical field, a lot of changes have taken place which in turn set a precedent for the current professional expectations of Pharmacists today. Derived from the history of pharmacy, educated predications can be made on the presumption that changes are created to advance and amend the profession. Upon graduating in May 2019, we expect implications that will take place will be fully implemented by 2029. Although the core principles of pharmacy will not change, technology and professional recognition will be the major advancements. In the next four years, we expect the responsibilities of a community pharmacist to change due to corporate expectations to attain certain numbers and profits. The need for technicians in community pharmacy will be cut back as time goes on. Directly correlated to this decrease of technicians, the pharmacist will have to take on the additional duties with the lack of help. The corporations will benefit from this because it decreases their budget and increases their profit. However, this present trend will only become worse and create a high pressure environment for the pharmacist. Ultimately, there will be less time for the pharmacist to consult with the patients. Due to this fact there will be longer wait periods for receiving drug pick ups, which will negatively impact patient satisfaction. This can lead patients in the direction of filling their prescriptions through mail order. Mail order already has ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 50. Hrm 531 Week 4 Paper The LV team is eager to learn what statistical significance is and why it s an important construct in the study and use of inferential statistics. Good Morning LV Team, The last few weeks we covered descriptive statistic: the central tendency, variability, correlation and Z score. Today s session is a little bit different, we will be talking about statistical significance. Statistical significance is the level of risk one is willing to take to reject or accept a null hypothesis while it is true and it separate random error from systematic error. When doing a study or research, the statistical significance shows that the difference obtained were not caused by chance. Inferential statistics, the T test, partition noise from bias by studying a random sample than the population in which we are interested and from the results we infer. The advantage of using sample than a population, it is convenient, saves time, energy and money because n is smaller than population and above all it helps to control systematic and random errors. When we are making a conclusion, we should have a certain confidence or probability of being right and that is called the alpha level; which the risk you are willing to ... It depends on the context and circumstance, therefore, 0.01 is not practical compared to the benefit I gain from buying the California Olive Ranch brand which is lower in price with better quality (previous study). However, if studies had shown that the quality was inferior, then 0.01 would be practical significance. Knowing whether the probability is significance or practical helps us in our decision. If I want to increase the cost of X by 1cent and by competitors have a lower price with same quality, then it is not practical to increase the cost by a penny and lose my customer.
