The study found that breastfeeding for over 4 weeks doubled the risk of diagnosed asthma in childhood and these effects persisted into adulthood. Additionally, breastfeeding for over 13 weeks increased the likelihood of skin test response to allergens. However, the study had limitations such as unclear definitions of breastfeeding and potential recall and selection biases. Overall, the study did not support the idea that breastfeeding protects against asthma or atopy.

Results will be analyzed using inferential statistics to determine if there is an association between duration of exclusive breastfeeding and IQ/motor scores. The findings could encourage longer exclusive breastfeeding duration as recommended by health organizations.

Background UP, India’s most popular state recorded the most diarrhoeal deaths. 22.21 deaths nationwide over five year to 2017. Method A quantitative evaluative approach using questionnaire on diarrhoea. Pre experimental one group pre test and post test design was used. Convenient sampling technique was used to select 30 samples from the selected Anganwadi in Lucknow. Initially researcher got permission for study from concern authorities. Pre test done followed by structured teaching program on prevention and home management of diarrhoea for 50 min followed by 10 min session of question and answer. A post test was conducted after 2 weeks of structured teaching program. The tools used for data collection, part 1 demographic variables, part 2 assessing knowledge on home management of diarrhoea. Results the pre test mean value of knowledge 23±1.9 was lesser than post test mean value 23.62±1.75. The effectiveness of STP, the obtained, “t- test value is 9.469. which is found to be greater than the, “t- table value p=0.000 0.01 level at 29df. Since the obtained t value is significant at p 0.01 level, therefore research hypotheses H1 is accepted. It is inferred that, there is significant difference between pre test and post test knowledge regarding diarrhoea among mothers of under five year children. Conclusion The study concludes that the structured teaching program was very effective in providing knowledge prevention and home management of diarrhoea among mothers. Result It revealed that post test score24.5 82.22 which is higher than pretest score 16.86 56.20 , the actual gain of knowledge score is 26.02 and computed ‘t’ value t29 =15.41 is more than tabled value t29 =2.05 at the level of 0.05.Therefore it indicated highly significant difference and effectivness of structured teaching programme through lesson plan and booklet, in increasing the knowledge of mothers of under five children regarding diarrhoea. Introduction: The objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of school screening, parental knowledge and health education in
stimulating dental attendance among 6 to 10 years old children.
Material and Methods: A randomized controlled trial was carried out, with a sample size of 155 in each group. The study was conducted over a
period of 3 months, baseline clinical findings were assessed using dentition status and plaque index and knowledge of parents was evaluated using a
questionnaire in both the groups. The study group participants received oral health education and educational leaflets were distributed to the
parents. Further after 3 months, the post-intervention improvement was assessed as before. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS version
22. Descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, paired t-test, Wilcoxon signed rank test was used to analyze the data.
Results: The overtime changes in oral health knowledge of parents were significantly different in the study group (p-value <0.001). Highly
significant reduction in Plaque scores was reported in the study group compared to control group (p-value <0.001). Overall there were no
significant differences in DMFT and dmft increments between the groups. The intervention was not effective at reducing the level of active caries
and increasing attendance in the population under study.
Conclusion: Even though the intervention had positive effects on plaque score and and on oral health knowledge of parents, but the rate of
utilization was low. We need additional efforts addressing another individual, family, and community level factors to make such programs more
fruitful

BackgroundPremature infants are defined as neonates born before 37 weeks gestational age a newborn infant, or neonate, is a baby under 28 days of age. During these first 28 days of life, the baby is at highest risk of dying. It is thus crucial that appropriate feeding and care are provided during this period, both to improve the infant’s chances of survival and to lay the foundations for a healthy life.Objective To evaluate the effect of prefeeding oral stimulation program on oral feeding skills among preterm infants.Material and Methods A quasi experimental approach and pretest posttest control group design was adopted. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 40 preterm infants i.e. 20 in each experimental and control group. In experimental group, intra and peri oral stimulation was given for 3 minutes and 2 minutes on pacifier, 2 times a day at 2 hours intervals for the duration of 4 days and in control group routine care was done. Data collection was done using oral feeding skills assessment scale. The collected data were analyzed by calculating frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi square, and -‘t’ test.Findings The results revealed that in pre test, there was no statistically significant p 0.05 difference in all levels of feeding skills among preterm infants between experimental and control group but in post test there was statistically significant p 0.05 difference found in mean score of all levels of feeding skills among preterm infants in experimental and control group. The difference between the pre test and post test mean scores of all levels of feeding skills among preterm infants in experimental group was statistically more significant in comparison with control group after provision of 4 days of prefeeding oral stimulation programme. Hence prefeeding oral stimulation programme was found to be effective in improving the oral feeding skills among preterm infants.Conclusion The effect of prefeeding oral stimulation program on oral feeding skills among preterm infants is effective and it helped in the improvement of preterm infants feeding skills. Background UP, India’s most popular state recorded the most diarrhoeal deaths. 22.21 deaths nationwide over five year to 2017. Method A quantitative evaluative approach using questionnaire on diarrhoea. Pre experimental one group pre test and post test design was used. Convenient sampling technique was used to select 30 samples from the selected Anganwadi in Lucknow. Initially researcher got permission for study from concern authorities. Pre test done followed by structured teaching program on prevention and home management of diarrhoea for 50 min followed by 10 min session of question and answer. A post test was conducted after 2 weeks of structured teaching program. The tools used for data collection, part 1 demographic variables, part 2 assessing knowledge on home management of diarrhoea. Results the pre test mean value of knowledge 23±1.9 was lesser than post test mean value 23.62±1.75. The effectiveness of STP, the obtained, “t- test value is 9.469. which is found to be greater than the, “t- table value p=0.000 0.01 level at 29df. Since the obtained t value is significant at p 0.01 level, therefore research hypotheses H1 is accepted. It is inferred that, there is significant difference between pre test and post test knowledge regarding diarrhoea among mothers of under five year children. Conclusion The study concludes that the structured teaching program was very effective in providing knowledge prevention and home management of diarrhoea among mothers. Diarrhoeal disease is the second leading cause of death in children under five years old, and is responsible for killing around 525 000 children every year. Diarrhoea can last several days, and can leave the body without the water and salts that are necessary for survival. Objective The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding diarrhoea among the mothers at selected urban community in Thatipur GwaliorM.P. Methods In this study quasi experimental with one group pre test post test design was adopted.30 Mothers of under five children was taken by Purposive sampling technique. Structured interview developed to measure the knowledge of mother regarding the diarrhoea. Data was collected by administering structured interview before and after the administration of STP. Result It revealed that post test score24.5 82.22 which is higher than pretest score 16.86 56.20 , the actual gain of knowledge score is 26.02 and computed ‘t’ value t29 =15.41 is more than tabled value t29 =2.05 at the level of 0.05.Therefore it indicated highly significant difference and effectivness of structured teaching programme through lesson plan and booklet, in increasing the knowledge of mothers of under five children regarding diarrhoea. Conclusion The study can be concluded that the Structure teaching programme was effective in improving the knowledge of the mothers under five children. Introduction: The objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of school screening, parental knowledge and health education in
stimulating dental attendance among 6 to 10 years old children.
Material and Methods: A randomized controlled trial was carried out, with a sample size of 155 in each group. The study was conducted over a
period of 3 months, baseline clinical findings were assessed using dentition status and plaque index and knowledge of parents was evaluated using a
questionnaire in both the groups. The study group participants received oral health education and educational leaflets were distributed to the
parents. Further after 3 months, the post-intervention improvement was assessed as before. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS version
22. Descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, paired t-test, Wilcoxon signed rank test was used to analyze the data.
Results: The overtime changes in oral health knowledge of parents were significantly different in the study group (p-value <0.001). Highly
significant reduction in Plaque scores was reported in the study group compared to control group (p-value <0.001). Overall there were no
significant differences in DMFT and dmft increments between the groups. The intervention was not effective at reducing the level of active caries
and increasing attendance in the population under study.
Conclusion: Even though the intervention had positive effects on plaque score and and on oral health knowledge of parents, but the rate of
utilization was low. We need additional efforts addressing another individual, family, and community level factors to make such programs more
fruitful

BackgroundPremature infants are defined as neonates born before 37 weeks gestational age a newborn infant, or neonate, is a baby under 28 days of age. During these first 28 days of life, the baby is at highest risk of dying. It is thus crucial that appropriate feeding and care are provided during this period, both to improve the infant’s chances of survival and to lay the foundations for a healthy life.Objective To evaluate the effect of prefeeding oral stimulation program on oral feeding skills among preterm infants.Material and Methods A quasi experimental approach and pretest posttest control group design was adopted. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 40 preterm infants i.e. 20 in each experimental and control group. In experimental group, intra and peri oral stimulation was given for 3 minutes and 2 minutes on pacifier, 2 times a day at 2 hours intervals for the duration of 4 days and in control group routine care was done. Data collection was done using oral feeding skills assessment scale. The collected data were analyzed by calculating frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi square, and -‘t’ test.Findings The results revealed that in pre test, there was no statistically significant p 0.05 difference in all levels of feeding skills among preterm infants between experimental and control group but in post test there was statistically significant p 0.05 difference found in mean score of all levels of feeding skills among preterm infants in experimental and control group. The difference between the pre test and post test mean scores of all levels of feeding skills among preterm infants in experimental group was statistically more significant in comparison with control group after provision of 4 days of prefeeding oral stimulation programme. Hence prefeeding oral stimulation programme was found to be effective in improving the oral feeding skills among preterm infants.Conclusion The effect of prefeeding oral stimulation program on oral feeding skills among preterm infants is effective and it helped in the improvement of preterm infants feeding skills. The results will be analyzed using logistic regression to create a predictive model. This study hopes to improve early detection of preeclampsia through a multi-factorial approach combining traditional risk factors and novel biomarkers.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The Objectives of the study: 2)To asses the effect of planned teaching programme in prevention of nosocomial infection. 1)To assess the knowledge and practice of staff nurses regarding preventive protocol of infection control. 3)To improve the knowledge of staff nurse regarding prevention of nosocomial infection.
