Potential photographs for
  my music magazine.
I have taken some photographs
with the intention of using them
throughout my music magazine,
however I did not feel that all of
  the photographs taken were
appropriate and as a result, I did
not use some of them in my
           magazine.
I decided that I will
  incorporate this
 photograph in my
magazine because it
  shows a musical
  instrument thus
attracting a musical
     audience.
This photograph will
 be used in my music
 magazine because it
   shows two people
 dressed formally and
       somewhat
      outrageously,
  therefore I feel that
 using it for my ‘music
awards’ section will be
    extremely fitting.
I took this photograph
  as I thought that the
     low angle of the
 camera would create
the powerful look of a
  pop/rock star. I also
  decided to have the
  subject lean against
   the wall to create a
laid back, generation X
           feel.
I decided that I
   may use this
photograph in my
    work as it
  represents the
care-free lifestyle
   of my target
 audience, thus
encouraging them
 to purchase my
    magazine.
I took this photograph as it highlights the uniqueness of my
artists and this will attract my target audience of the younger
generation. Unfortunately I do not think that there is enough
room in my magazine to incorporate this photograph, however
I do plan to use a similar one on my contents page.
The purpose of this
photograph was to show
    the many different
  ‘looks’ of my featured
  artists. This particular
image will be used as my
 main photograph on my
double page spread as it
   shows emotion, thus
    attracting viewers.
I took this photograph with the aim of attracting an ‘indie’
target audience via the use of knitted cardigans and chunky
framed glasses; this is stereotypical of ‘indies’. I decided that I
will to use this as a way of attracting a varied audience.
When I took this
  photograph I though
     that it was very
     suitable for my
 magazine as it shows
the quirky and vibrant
nature of the youths of
        today, who
   ultimately, are my
target audience. I also
 found that this image
 has a very artistic feel
   to it and therefore
         suggests
    professionalism.
The guitar in this image
 will attract a musically
    interested target
 audience. The lighting
   in the photograph
   creates a God-like
 feel, which will appeal
 to my target audience
   as they think very
      highly of their
    favourite artists.
I took this
  photograph at a
   friend’s gig and
   decided that it
    would be very
suitable to use in my
music magazine as it
    shows a band
 performing and the
contrast of light and
 dark proves to be a
powerful technique.
When I took this photograph I was trying to create a sense of
togetherness with my subjects to represent a band, however
when uploaded it looks staged and out of placed when
compared to my other photographs and therefore I will not
                   include it in my work.
Fin.
