We sought to improve mobile design methods by tweaking HCI processes. Through three stages - background research, user prototyping, and user testing - we aimed to develop a better way to access messages and forums via mobile devices. Our paper prototypes were too abstract, so we transitioned to electronic mockups and high-fidelity paper prototypes. However, recording users' facial gestures, voices, and device interactions during testing proved challenging without proper setup. Observation of mobile testing was also difficult to follow.
