Cerebral, thoraco-abdominal, and pelvic CT scans were performed on a patient with a history of melanoma removal and lymph node surgery. The scans found no abnormalities in the brain, no new lung nodules or changes, and residual signs of prior surgery. Inflammation was seen in the sinuses but no other issues were identified.

TOMODENSITOMETRIC EXAM
INFORMATION:
Excision of melanoma in right chest wall in December 2012. Metastatic axillary
lymphadenopathy, operated on in March 2014. Under continued medical observation.
DETAILS OF EXAMINATION:
Examination by use of Brilliance CT 64-channel scanner. Helical CT imaging after
administration of contrast dye/agent. Recorded on CD Rom and placed in long-term
storage archives.
RESULTS:
Cerebral scan:
No contrasting pathological focal uptake shown either in the posterior cranial fossa or at
the supratentorial level.
Median structures in place.
No compression of brain ventricles or reduction in cerebral cortex sulci.
No visible vascular anomaly or orbital mass.
Inflammatory hyperplasia in the mucous membranes of the ethmoidal cells (left side),
and in the right frontal and maxillary sinuses.
No suspect heterogeneity of bone structure.
Chest scan:
No change in micronodular images in the lateral section of right middle lobe (RML) of
the lung.
Known sequela changes in the chest apical zone.
No suspect nodular lesions or systematic lung compression.
No pleural effusion.
Hiatus hernia.
Residual signs of surgery in the right axillary region.
No enlarged lymph nodes in the chest.
Known bilateral gynecomastia.
