This document announces a training about forms of municipal government in South Carolina and advocating for public policy change. The training will be held on July 24, 2014 from 10am to 12pm at the Ernest E. Kennedy Center annex in Goose Creek, SC. The training will cover the three forms of municipal government in SC, how local laws are created, and how citizens can advocate to local leaders on issues affecting their community. Attendees should register by July 21 with their name, agency or coalition, county, and email by contacting the listed Region 4 Capacity Coach. The training is free but participants must pay for their own lunch.
