Electrons flow from the negative terminal of a battery to the positive terminal, moving counter-clockwise through a circuit. The current entering one end of a resistor is negative relative to the current exiting the other end. Conductors are materials that allow the flow of electrons through their structure from particle to particle, permitting charge transfer across their entire surface. Common conductors include silver, copper, gold, aluminum, iron, steel, brass and bronze.
