Plastic pollution is a major problem caused by overuse of plastic and a disposable mentality. Plastic waste ends up polluting the environment, including oceans and fresh water. This plastic pollution has negative effects like harming ocean and land animals, disrupting the food chain, causing health issues for humans and being expensive to manage. The top plastic polluting countries are the US, India, China, Brazil, and Indonesia. Solutions include reducing single-use plastics, using reusable containers and bags, and banning certain plastics. Some countries have implemented bans on plastic use and import. Islam also teaches stewardship of the environment.

The world population is growing and so is urbanization which causes
increase in demand to cheap plastic .

When it comes to plastic we don’t value them to hang on to individual
items.

Plastic is used everywhere even on those items you may not expect it
be. Every time one of these items get thrown away the toxic
pollutants have more chance to enter the environment
