This document provides an overview of the TokuDB internals presentation that will take place at Percona Live 2015 from September 21-23 in Amsterdam. The presentation will cover topics such as fractal trees storage, block files, the cachetable, recovery and rollback logs, and MVCC in TokuDB. It includes slides on the problem of optimizing data access between RAM and disk, and how fractal trees provide better performance than B-trees for random inserts by buffering changes in node messages that are pushed down the tree.
