2. Medium
Our fundamental idea is to create works following three
different mediums. Firstly I will begin to deliberate what
this project will be aimed at and what it will include, this
project will follow the creative processes involved in
the creation of a game, such as concept art
(characters, environments and architecture)
inspirational real world photographs (of characters,
environments and architecture) and a filmed
documentary following these processes throughout the
project.
The documentary will be shot using simple camera’s
(Epson, bridges) the documentary will have a very easy
going theme and will be shot using simple camera
angles and editing to keep the documentary simple and
professional. The photos and concept drawings will be
presented and discussed within the documentary and
presented as hard copies.

3. The format of our video will be a
friendly styled documentry running
through the ideas of the group and the
finished concept art and photo’s.This
will be structured as a tag along
documentry folowing the groups
activities broke up by slideshows of the
work that’s been done and also
including interviews with the group
members discussing various topics
centring around the work we will be
doing and some things on the games
industry in general. The video will be
between 10 and 20 minutes long.

4. Content
The documentary that we will be creating
will contain various different things. It will
include what attracts our group members to
the game industry and what first got them
interested, discusions on the group
members opinions on the direction of the
games industry and there creative ideas and
opinions also it will include the work that
has been done alongside the documentry.
This creates an informal and slightly
personal documentry. The information in
the video given by the group members will
be true to their opinions as nothing will be
scripted in terms of interview answears
however the opinions will be discussed
beforehand and scripted to avoid any
akward moments. All in all this
documentary will be a friendly tag along to a
creative procces rather than an officailCharlie

5. Stages
Planning – This involves the idea creation proccess
using things such as mind maps, moodboards and
brief idea notes
Pre-Production - This part of production, involves
planning the work tasks and how we will do the
documentry, we will need to plan what equipment
will be needed, what will be filmed, our scripts for
the various topics, camera angles etc, lighting for
interview scenes ECT.
Production – Here the work is split into three main
parts while being filmed, so three main things here
the pencil and paper concept drawings, the
inspirational photos and the final digital art
(putting everything together) we will follow this
filming the process while also putting together our
interviews.
Post production – After the filming and other works
have been completed we will be editing the
