Mir proposes establishing a cattle farm and biogas plant to address problems in his community like lack of gas, meat, employment, and environmental issues. The farm would raise cattle for meat and milk production. Cow dung and other agricultural waste would be used to produce biogas, which would then be supplied to local homes via pipelines. This would create employment and satisfy demand for gas, meat, and milk in the rural area while reducing environmental impacts. The business model estimates startup costs of 500,000 taka and outlines revenue streams from dairy, biogas, fertilizer, and cattle sales to support the financial viability of the integrated farm and biogas operation.

ABSTRACT
West Bengal lies in lower gangetic plain region of India. The average annual rainfall lies between 100-200 cm and temperature varies from 26°C- 41°C in summer and 9°C - 24°C in winter. The region has adequate storage of ground water, rice is the main cereal crop followed by jute, maize, potato, and pulses are other important crops. Livestock generating employment, income and has become an important component of rural development programmes i.e., “Equity and extending benefits directly to women” making a significant contribution to the national economy and socio-economic development. West Bengal contributing 3.89 % of the State domestic product (SDP) and nearly 20.34% of its agriculture production. The buffalos of this region are few, non-descript, less productive and poorly developed. Women play a major role in livestock production and most small marginal and landless rural farmers traditionally rear goat, sheep, poultry, cattle and buffalo, as they generally follow the extensive management system, primarily poor natural vegetation and crop stubbles, without any supplementation. By virtue of high fecundity and better productivity, goat assured income to the rural population with low input cost in diverse agro-climatic condition. Augmentation of production and productivity is the most challenging constraint and availability of feed and fodder is another serious constraint. All livestock and poultry are indigenous and low-productive these stand in the way of the effective growth of this sector. Animal resources development department, Govt. of West Bengal is basically responsible for formulation and implementation of Livestock and Poultry policies and programmes and has been providing assistance to the State Government for the control of animal diseases, scientific management and up-gradation of genetic resources, sustainable development of processing and marketing facilities and enhancement of production and profitability of livestock enterprises.
Beef cattle are cattle raised for meat production (as distinguished from dairy cattle, used for milk production). The meat of adult cattle is known as beef. In beef production there are three main stages: cow-calf operations, backgrounding, and feedlot operations.

1. Mir’s Cattle farm & Biogas plant
Presented by-
Mir Sazzadul islam (173-45-164)
Presented to-
Mohd. Safiul Alam
2. Problem statement!
Lack of gas
Lack of meet according to its needs
Lack of employment
Dependency in other country
Bad Effects on environment
3. Solution!
Basic Plan is to establish a cattle/dairy farm where various cattle will be
Raised, livestock farming and livestock breeding will be held. But The main
purpose will be to use the waste /cow dung/agricultural waste, manure,
plant material, sewage, green waste or food waste from the farm to Create
BIOGAS and establish a Biogas plant. And use the Biogas to give
Connection to the nearby houses for cooking purposes. Meanwhile Cattle’s
Milk will be used as source of nutrition! Meat needs will be also be
satisfied by the farm!Cow dung and other wastage will also not been
thrown as wastage so it wont harm the environment. Employment sectors
will be created!
4. Market size?
Demand-As NG line are not available in rural area there is huge demand of
that. So with that much demand intact it would be huge opportunity to
provide this gas lines by using Biogas. Huge demand for cow meat and
milk also in the area can also be satisfied and Profit will be in regular basis.
Market- As the demand is countrywide so the market will be huge!
*Individual
*Local families
*Hotel,Resturants and companies
*Village, Union & Thanas
5. Business model!
Costing would be totally depend on the items used or how well decorated
the farm is.But to make a farm for 10-15 cows it would take almost 1.25-
1.50 lakh taka. And To buy cattle of different sizes would cost different
numbers as per one cow of aged 1 year or so with normal body structure
would cost 30-35 thousand taka…3-5 cows(male) will cost around 1-1.50
lakh taka. Two calved cow(female) will cost 60-75thousand each which will
make it 1.50lakh at least…so grand total is somewhere 4.50 lakh..and to
feed those cattle's 15-20 thousand taka would be invested and minimum
15thousnd taka would be needed to arrange the man power. So almost
5lakh taka initially would be budget for setuping and launching the farm.
7. Financial propositions!
After Successfully Establishing farm and build up the gas plant gas line will
be provided home to home on low cost for cooking purposes. Monthly
income will be coming from that. And use extra cow dung to make fertilizer
and sell them to local market,Cattle milk will also be sold on regular basis.
1.Dairy-Daily
2.Gas-Monthly
3.Organic fertilizer-Frequently
4.Cow selling-yearly or semi yearly
8. Traction Stage
Doing practical trainings
Collecting funds
Having information's
Looking for guidance
Man power collection (On process)
9. Conclusion
Biogas plant and a cattle farm together can be prove to be a next big thing
for country. Specially for rural areas. With it not only so many job opportunity
will arise but the weather will be more greener and people from rural area can
enjoy the benefit of cities. Burden from the Government about gas issue will
be lower. Youth will Start earning and can contribute their talent to this sector
to give our country a big opportunity to go forword. This project is win win
situation for all. Biogas Plant can prove to be a huge success for rural
development and creating Job sectors.
