This document outlines initial ideas and planning for a bridal magazine targeted towards upper class women aged 26-30 in the North East region. It discusses developing the magazine's masthead, choosing font styles, selecting a color theme, modeling appearance, potential publishers, and sources of inspiration. The target audience and objectives of the magazine are defined. An outline is provided for the first four magazine pages and two additional promotional elements that will be created.

5. MASTHEAD
I looked at similar magazines and found that they all belonged to one of four categories.They all were either
region specific, were completed by the word Bride orWedding, or were a word associated with marriage. I
brainstormed names that fit into this category and came out with these names.
From them, I chose Matrimony as it is sophisticated and memorable. I then looked at fonts and evaluated the
Wonderland was the best font.Thus, my masthead looked like…

11. INSPIRATIONS
I have looked at a range of magazines. My main inspiration is BRIDES magazine. I have posts on
my blog dedicated to my inspirations for contents page, front cover, articles, websites and
billboards.
