The second agreement is for teachers and staff and contains similar promises such as respecting individual differences, not discriminating, treating students fairly, not making gender-based selections for activities, sharing responsibilities at home, and supporting equality for women in work and politics. 1. The document lists the 30 most commonly used women's names in Turkey according to records from the Turkish Population and Registration Office.
2. Many of the top names are of Arabic origin and reflect the influence of Islam on Turkish culture, such as Fatma, Ayse, and Emine.
3. More recently, the most popular baby girls' names in Turkey in 2015 included both traditional Turkish names like Zeynep and Elif as well as some newer names, showing the evolution of naming trends over time.
This document discusses a project in Spain that aimed to promote gender equality and sharing of domestic responsibilities between men and women. Through the project, most students learned that housework is not solely a woman's responsibility. Some fathers became more aware and started helping their wives with chores at home. Photos show students and fathers cleaning and doing other domestic tasks together, demonstrating that attitudes may be changing. Students also learned that jobs are not strictly gendered, as some mothers took on tasks like farming or repairs, and some girls helped with activities like chopping wood or car maintenance.
Sports are an important way for students at the school to socialize and feel equal, regardless of gender. Both boys and girls enjoy playing popular team sports together like volleyball, football, and darts. Several of the school's sports teams, including boys football, girls futsal and volleyball, girls darts, boys handball, and girls ping-pong, have won championships in recent years, demonstrating the strength and talents of both male and female students.
The document summarizes a trip diary from a meeting in Poland from April 3-7, 2017 for the Erasmus+ project "S/HE EQUAL IN EUROPE". Key events included a welcome ceremony and dance show by Polish students, workshops on women's equality in Poland and for teachers/students, a trip to Krakow including visits to Oskar Schindler's factory and the Wawel Castle, a meeting with the Mayor of Ropczyce, a bowling competition between students and teachers promoting equality, and a festive dinner before departures on the last day.
