Pink dolphins are a rare species found in the Amazon and Orinoco rivers in South America. Unlike most other dolphin species that live in the sea, pink dolphins reside exclusively in rivers. They are born grey but become pinker with age. Pink dolphins have larger brains than humans and their skin turns brighter pink when excited or embarrassed like how human faces turn red. They are an endangered species being one of the last remaining river dolphins.
