The photographer will take portraits of an artist posing in a black leotard against a white backdrop. A variety of poses will be used to portray the model as confident, powerful, and sassy. Different angles and compositions will be experimented with, including close-ups of the model's face and body. Post-production techniques like airbrushing, adjusting eyelashes and brightness/contrast will be used to enhance the model's attractiveness and make her skin appear flawless. Studio lighting at half power will highlight facial features. Props of a tiara and sash will portray the model as a beauty queen.

2. Subject Matter
I am going to be photographing
my artist wearing a black leotard
against a white backdrop. In
addition, I am going to experiment
a range of different angles and
compositions. I am using a white
backdrop so the audience’s
attention is immediately drawn to
my artist. I am aiming for my
model to look confident, sassy and
powerful and will experiment with
a variety of different poses to do
this.

3. Composition
My model will be the focal point in
these photographs and will be
central in the majority of them. In
some of these photographs I will
experiment with zooming and
cropping for variation and will
take my images from a variety of
different angles to capture her
facial features and body. My artist
will be looking into the camera in
some images to connect with the
audience and her fans.

4. Photographic Techniques
The photos will be taken with a
wide depth of field using a prime
lens. I will airbrush my models skin
to make her appear flawless and
to heighten her attractiveness. I
will lengthen and blacken her
eyelashes on Picmonkey and I will
make specific features stand out.
I also will adjust the brightness and
contrast on Photoshop.

5. Lighting
I will use studio lighting on half
power to highlight my model’s
facial features.
Props
My artist will be wearing a tiara
and a sash to look like a beauty
queen.
