3. SUBJECT MATTER
• The subject of the images will be the band,
and the images are for use on the digipak and
the magazine ad.
• Our images will be in black and white for the
promotional package, which we can do post-
production on photoshop.

4. EDITING
• To make the Digipak and Magazine
ad, we will use photoshop to edit the
images black and white. We chose
black and white to contrast against
the brightly colour background.

5. Using the rule of thirds on our cover, the band will
take up the bottom section of the cover. The rule of
thirds allow a sense of construction and order when
taking a photograph of people, as they often are
positioned in line with the grid.

ALBUM NAME, RELEASE DATE,
WHERE TO BUY ETC
For our magazine advert we are following the same black
and white image on the orange background. We will use
a portrait image of the band to follow the vertical lines
and orientation of the poster.
