The Edsa Shrine is a small church located at the intersection of Ortigas Avenue and EDSA in Quezon City. It was built in 1989 to commemorate the People Power Revolutions that ousted Philippine presidents Ferdinand Marcos and Joseph Estrada. Our Lady of Peace is a title for the Virgin Mary representing peace. The Andres Bonifacio Monument in Manila honors the Philippine revolutionary hero and was designed by National Artist Guillermo Tolentino. It features figures symbolizing the Philippine Revolution atop a 45-foot pylon. The Oblation statue at the University of the Philippines has become its iconic symbol of service and sacrifice, commissioned by President Rafael Palma based on a verse by
