Exploring the Sacred Mysteries and Secrets of Chinese Medicine Through a Buddhist Cultural Perspective For my personal project, I created a painting, inspired by the Tibetan Thangka, to represent Chinese medicine through a buddhist cultural view.     Exploring the SacredMysteries and Secrets of Chinese Medicine Through a Buddhist Cultural Perspective For my personal project, I created a painting, inspired by the Tibetan Thangka, to represent Chinese medicine through a buddhist cultural view. The painting displays important symbols such as the medicine buddha, yin-yang, and acupuncture, to show some of the Traditional Chinese medicinal theories and buddhist beliefs. Moreover, the painting also incorporates a series of photographs of a powerful Chinese herbalist and his unbelievable treatment methods. Along with the painting, I wrote a small booklet that describes the context behind the painting along with other stories and evidence to support the Eastern medicinal theories.
