Growing up in a family that is musically influenced,
Kaecianna realized her apple didn’t fall far from the
family tree. Living in the East Coast, but raised by
the Jamaican culture that her mother brings; rhythm,
music, love and peace shaped her into the woman she
is today. Singing since she was 3, performing since 12,
“KAE” created her name as a music artist
professionally in 2018. Being that Kaecianna became
an independent artist, understanding the art and the
business side was really important to her; for herself
and for the future artists she plans on developing in
her careers future. She began the process of getting
her degree in Music Business, and this is where
Kaecianna will learn how to market, manage and
brand herself as an artist, and others as well in the
future.

The music industry does not have a full platform
for Independent Artists who don’t want to be signed
to any specific label. Having to invest into oneself and
push your own agendas to accomplish what most artists may
get with labels is hard. That’s why I use my own experience from performing,
writing, networking, and branding, to guide young artists who have the same dream
as me to be successful. It helps that I was in the same category as many solo artists
before my success. Hence I am able to impart on them the knowledge I’ve gained
throughout my musical journey.
