Electrolytic separation of lead and its dioxide from carbonate ore residiuum. The study electrolytically extracts lead and lead dioxide from various electrolyte solutions derived from roasted Eastern Desert complex carbonate ore residue. Experiments determined the optimum conditions and efficiency of electrolytically extracting lead from the ore leach solutions. Lead and lead dioxide were successfully electrodeposited from different electrolyte baths containing soluble ore salts or complex ore anions.
