Difference between Active Voice and Passive Voice
1. Active Voice
The subject is the doer of the sentence.
S + V + O
The manager organized the meeting
2. Passive Voice
The subject is the person or thing affected by the action. Subject or
doer is not very important here.
O + V + S
The meeting was organized by the manager.
When we use passive voice;
The doer is not very important.
We talk about how the subject is affected by the action.
We always use Past Participle Form of the verb.
When we turn Active voice into Passive voice;
The tense of the sentence is not changed.
We should always use the past participle form of the verb.
We should decide the verb according to the taken object.
(Singularity o plurality of the object)
Simple Present Tense
Used to talk about the actions we do as habits, our daily routings, general truths…

Singular V s / es / ies
Plural V infinitive form
Ex.
My father drinks a glass of milk every morning.
The sun rises from the East.
The trees give us food and shade.

Passive Voice

Singular is past participle
form of verb
Plural are
My father drinks a glass of milk every morning.
Every morning a glass of milk is drunk by my father
Ex.
The trees give us food and shade.
We are given food and shade by the trees

• Anyone will + Verb infinitive form
• I / We shall + Verb infinitive form
• My friend will give me ten rupees.
• I shall go to a new class next
