This document summarizes a study that aimed to determine if passion fruit leaves can be used as an organic hand wash. The researchers tested three treatments of passion fruit leaf extract and compared them to a commercial hand wash in terms of odor, color, and texture after use. Treatment 3, which had the highest concentration of passion fruit leaves, was found to have a very fragrant odor, very attractive color, and left skin very smooth after use. This treatment performed similarly to the commercial hand wash. The study thus suggests that passion fruit leaves have potential to be developed into an effective organic hand wash.

Generally, this study aimed to determine the possibility of
passion fruit(Passiflora edulis) leaves as organic hand wash
Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

8. SCOPE AND LIMITATION
This study is focused in the use of passion leaves extract from
making the organic hand wash.

9. Materials and Equipment
The materials and equipment used in this study were bolo for cutting the stem of the passion
leaves ;casserole, gas stove ,clean water and spatula for boiling the decoction; clean white cloth
for straining the passion leaves repellant; beaker for measuring the chemicals and water ;bottles
used as containers.

Gathering the Passion Fruit Leaves and the Chemicals
The researchers gathered the passion leaves from the researchers residence using a basket and a bolo .The stem
of passion leaves is cut using the bolo.

The researchers select 30 person from Abulug, Cagayan to determine the acceptability of
passion leaves (Passifora edulis)fruit as organic hand wash in terms of odor, color, texture of
the skin after used .These respondents are between 18 to 40 years old .
