IDEAL: On 23rd of Aug,2012 an industrial visit held in Parle
plant located in Vile Parle (w) situated in mumbai, we were
5 students of S.Y.BMS reached at 11:50 am in the morning.
After reaching there we visited the manufacturing
department of Parle-G.

INTRODUCTION
Parle-G or Parle Glucose is a brand of biscuits
manufactured by Parle Products in India. Primarily
eaten as a tea-time snack, Parle-G is one of the oldest
brand names in India. For decades, the product was
instantly recognized by its iconic white and yellow wax
paper wrapper with the depiction of a young girl on
the front.
PARLE LEGACY
Parle Products was established in the Vile Parle suburb of
Mumbai, in 1929. It began manufacturing biscuits in
1939. In 1947, when India became independent, the
company launched an ad campaign, showcasing its
Glucose brand of biscuits as an Indian. The "G" in the
name Parle-G originally stood for "Glucose", though a
later brand slogan also stated "G means Genius".
QUALITY
Hygiene is the precursor to every process at Parle. From
husking the wheat and melting the sugar to delivering
the final products to supermarkets and store shelves
nationwide. Every batch of biscuits, confectioneries &
snacks are thoroughly checked by expert staff, using the
most modern equipment.
