This document outlines plans for limited in-person classes at the Regional Lead School for the Arts in Angono following health and safety protocols. It will divide students into two sets attending either limited face-to-face classes or modular distance learning on alternating weeks. Only 20 students will be allowed per classroom. The Buga National High School- Gines Extension in compliance with the Division memorandum 226, s. 2023 “ Conduct of the Year-end Student Led School Watching and Hazard Mapping “ , conducted the Student Led School watching and hazard mapping on June 23, 2023.
It commenced with the orientation of the School Watching Team on the conduct of the said activity. The Moderator Mr. Ivan Jhon C. Anam as the School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Coordinator explain the importance and steps of conducting the Student Led School Watching and Hazard Mapping.
Upon the completion of hazard mapping these are the following identified possible hazards at school.
a. Broken Windows
b. Slippery Pathways
c. Flooded Areas
d. Broken Door Knobs
e. Flooding
f. Lack/ absence of storage equipment
g. Stagnant water
h. Open/clogged canal
i. Open/ incomplete perimeter fence
j. Presence of stary animals inside the school campus
k. Presence of electrical post near or within the school perimeter
l. Broken chairs
The result of this Hazard Mapping will be discussed and presented during the faculty meeting to give an immediate action. This will also be coordinated with the proper authorities for the rehabilitation and action of the said hazards.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
