School Parents’ Survey
June, 2018
18th Primary School of Rhodes, Greece
Survey’s Results and Statistical Αnalysis
This survey of 139 school parents was conducted in June, 2018
by the 18th Primary School of Rhodes, Greece.
This survey is a part of a midterm evaluation and aims at gaining
insights into the implementation and impact of the project activities
on our school.
1. Have you heard Erasmus+ G.A.M.E project before?
The majority of our school parents
(88%) have heard about our
Erasmus project “GAME” and the
activities we run as a school. They
are informed in many ways: by
their kids, by the news we upload
at the website of our school, by
the Erasmus corner, by written
announcements and brochures . In
these leaflets sent to our students
homes by our school Erasmus
team , we inform them about our
project’s mobilities and events.
2.Do you know the aim of the Erasmus+ G.A.M.E
project?
The 75% of our school parents has
answered yes to this question. Our
Erasmus school team always
mentions the aim of this Erasmus
+project from the beginning
(September 2017) and throughout
this school year (2017-2018). We
use oral means (school speeches)
and written forms such as
brochures, posts at the school
website, written announcements
which we sent to our students’
homes and during school events.
3.Do you know the partner countries of Erasmus+ G.A.M.E
project? Our school has tried to inform the school
community about the countries which
participate in the Erasmus project “GAME”
in numerous and diverse ways: putting big
flags of our partners’ countries in the
school entrance, by the Erasmus corner
where we have many info for each one, by
playing games from these countries and
also by the school posts we upload and
where we always mention info about the
countries of our partners. In conclusion,
the 69% of the answer “yes” shows that
our parents know the partner countries.
4. Could you get the brochures and announcements which
were prepared by our school?
The results of this question show
that a big amount of our parents,
the 89% receive and read the
brochures and announcements
our school Erasmus+ team gives
or posts at the school website or
at the main school board so as to
get informed about whatever has
to do with our Erasmus+ KA2
project “GAME”.
The majority of our parents (81%) has
noticed and has read all the
announcements, written projects and
photos from our Erasmus+ project’s
activities, which the Erasmus+ team
has posted from time to time on the
school billboards and has looked over
the posters we have created for
“G.A.M.E.” at various locations of our
school.
5.Have you ever looked over posters and billboards at the
various locations of our school?
6.Has your child ever participated in an activity about
Erasmus+ G.A.M.E project?
Most of the parents has answered
positively (81%) to this question, and that
is because the Erasmus school team tried
to incorporate all the pupils to participate
in activities which have to do with our
Erasmus+ project. More specifically they
made the Erasmus corner, they drew a
logo for our project, they designed and
wrote a Christmas card, they played
games outdoor and indoor from the
countries of our partners, they attended
presentations of the participating schools
and of the moblities the school staff
participated in , they took part in online
conference with students from our
7.Do you have any suggestion, wishes for the second
project year?
The following are what a few parents have suggested for the 2nd project
year:
• They want activities which have to do with exchanging knowledge and
cultural experience between the students of the schools which
participate in this project (like exchanging Christmas cards, emails,
crafts, etc.)
• They proposed that the students of these countries to communicate
more often online during the school year
• They wrote that the school staff must continue to incorporate in the
school curriculum games from our partner’s countries as good school
practices
• Also, they mention that the school must create “Open School Events”
which should have intercultural character for our school to become
more familiar with other nations and cultures

We use oral means (school speeches) and written forms such as brochures, posts at the school website, written announcements which we sent to our students’ homes and during school events.
  • 5. 3.Do you know the partner countries of Erasmus+ G.A.M.E project? Our school has tried to inform the school community about the countries which participate in the Erasmus project “GAME” in numerous and diverse ways: putting big flags of our partners’ countries in the school entrance, by the Erasmus corner where we have many info for each one, by playing games from these countries and also by the school posts we upload and where we always mention info about the countries of our partners. In conclusion, the 69% of the answer “yes” shows that our parents know the partner countries.
  • 6. 4. Could you get the brochures and announcements which were prepared by our school? The results of this question show that a big amount of our parents, the 89% receive and read the brochures and announcements our school Erasmus+ team gives or posts at the school website or at the main school board so as to get informed about whatever has to do with our Erasmus+ KA2 project “GAME”.

The majority of our parents (81%) has noticed and has read all the announcements, written projects and photos from our Erasmus+ project’s activities, which the Erasmus+ team has posted from time to time on the school billboards and has looked over the posters we have created for “G.A.M.E.” at various locations of our school. 5.Have you ever looked over posters and billboards at the various locations of our school?
  • 8. 6.Has your child ever participated in an activity about Erasmus+ G.A.M.E project? Most of the parents has answered positively (81%) to this question, and that is because the Erasmus school team tried to incorporate all the pupils to participate in activities which have to do with our Erasmus+ project. More specifically they made the Erasmus corner, they drew a logo for our project, they designed and wrote a Christmas card, they played games outdoor and indoor from the countries of our partners, they attended presentations of the participating schools and of the moblities the school staff participated in , they took part in online conference with students from our
  • 9. 7.Do you have any suggestion, wishes for the second project year? The following are what a few parents have suggested for the 2nd project year: • They want activities which have to do with exchanging knowledge and cultural experience between the students of the schools which participate in this project (like exchanging Christmas cards, emails, crafts, etc.) • They proposed that the students of these countries to communicate more often online during the school year • They wrote that the school staff must continue to incorporate in the school curriculum games from our partner’s countries as good school practices • Also, they mention that the school must create “Open School Events” which should have intercultural character for our school to become more familiar with other nations and cultures
