School Hours A.M. arrival 8:30 – 8:50 dismissal – 11:25 P.M. arrival 12:45 dismissal - 3:25 (car riders are picked up in the lobby) Transportation Each students should wear the provided nametag the first few days of school with the student’s home bus number on the back. A note from the parent is needed for any transportation changes.
Excused Absences If your child is ill, please let the office know in the morning. If you need a  Pre-arranged Absence Form: Elementary , you can get one from the office or from the District’s webpage.
School Dress and Materials Please have you child wear clothing that he or she can manipulate independently in the restroom. Refer to the school’s Handbook. Students need a bookbag that is large enough to hold the Take Home Folder. Paint shirt Please, NO extra pencils, markers, crayons, etc.
Bag – of - Books Eventually, students will bring home a Bag- of- Books.  2 student selected books  One book will be on your child’s independent reading level. The other book will be a Wish Book.  A third alphabet book may or may not be chosen.  Daily Homework
Report Cards and Conferences Report cards  2  times a year –  Jan. and June Conferences  2  times a year –  Nov. and May
School Closings or Delays The District will call you. Check the District’s website.
Holidays   and   Birthdays 2 class parties – December and the end of the year. Send in a note IF sending in a class treat. PLEASE,  NO  PEANUT  ITEMS.

Book Orders Multiple Please make check payable to Scholastic.
Student will get a Show and Tell Bag when it is his or her turn. Please, no live animals.
Featured Handler Child will receive Featured Handler Notice. Children may bring in photos, drawings, or magazine clippings that tell something about themselves. Please, no more than 10 items.  We will display items that fit on the dog bone. ITEMS  WILL  BE  TAPED to the wall.
Un-bee-lievable    Expectations Expectations posted in the school and classroom. Daily communication with parents Student will move clip if not making a good choice. School rewards May earn a bee
Pack Leader’s Assistant Will assist Teacher for the day Leader, paper passer, recycler, etc.  May pick a friend to help with some jobs
