Editor's Notes
- Every crisis is an opportunity - Dr Tom Mulholland. Due to our reduced operations grant and staffing for 2012 we have had to consider different options for classrooms and teachers for 2012.
- We start the year on 121 students that we know of, so the Ministry are allowing for the growth we have predicted. We were looking at redeployment of a teacher, but with Mrs Arthurs promotion to Principalship,this has been sorted for us.
- These are the numbers we know of at the moment. If you know of anyone leaving or joining our St Patrick’s community please remind them to let the school office know to assist us with our planning.
- The Board has always funded a teacher-aide to support children from Y0-8 who have learning difficulties.
- We aim to set this up between the Totara and Kahikatea classrooms. Kowhai will possibly be used as an Arts/Music room where Kapahaka, choir, violin and Clarrie Light’s music group can practice.
- Text messages will be sent to you to remind you of meetings, teacher only days, class trips etc. If you do not wish to receive these, please contact the office.
