I am an experienced Quality Manager, with a strong aerospace background. My quality management
experience has been gained within both ferrous and composite manufacture. I am a Lead Auditor and have
held the post of Transnational Quality Audit Manager. I have extensive experience of Aerospace Regulatory
Requirements e.g. EASA 21G / 145, NACAP Special Process Qualification, AS/EN 9100 and First Article
Inspection Requirements. I have supported Critical Design Reviews and Flight Certification. I have been a

LINPAC Packaging is a producer of both EPS expanded foam and PET rigid plastic, food grade packaging
and trays. Predominately utilising recycled bottle flake from various suppliers around the world. Production in
the UK is based in Warfield and St Helens. On site capabilities include both extrusion and thermoforming.

Working through Aerospace PM Partner, I was seconded to EN ISO Certification team based in Toulouse.
Responsibilities:
 Providing quality training for Process Owners and Process Quality Managers.
Achievements:
 The 2014 EN 9100 recertification programme was achieved with the lowest ever number of Non-
conformances.

2012 - 2014 Night Shift Quality Manager – Airbus UK Broughton
This was a senior management position reporting directly to the Head of Plant Quality UK. Holding total night
shift quality responsibility for wing production across three separate factories and five separate wing
platforms. Whilst in this role I spent a considerable amount of time on day shift activities, as described in
Achievements.
Responsibilities:
 Leading a team of 12 direct reports and 50 indirect reports.
 Strategic and Tactical Quality Planning for all night shift activities.

 Supporting A350 Creation of a Composite Repair Facility. Advised on the creation of a sub-ambient

 Conducted Make Vs Buy investigation for Single Aisle and Twin Aisle Paint Shops.
 Conducted suppler approval Audits on failing suppliers, then provided support in addressing issues

2000 – 2004 Owner Manager – The Country Larder – Town Square Shopping Centre Oldham
The Country Larder employed 30 staff and had a turnover of £1 million. I was responsible for purchasing,
work planning, staff training, Advertising / Marketing, Health and Safety and Environmental Compliance.
During this period, I also held the chair of the Town Square Shopping Centres Tenants Association.
1998 – 2000 Project Manager - Quality Auditor – Morson International – Manchester
Head Hunted by Morson International to facilitate the transfer of a project from Rolls Royce Nuclear to
Morson International.
Responsibilities:
 I spent six months auditing suppliers at various power stations in Scotland and England.
Achievements:
 instigated an Audit Schedule for suppliers based on risk and previous audit findings. Audits were
conducted in accordance with ISO, UKAEA and BNFL Standards.
