Wash hands and Proceed to the work area with appropriate PPE
Check the area for any damage
Switch of all electrical equipment and check the socket and cable.
Check the ceiling and the electric light and the Ac duct,
Check the waterline, drain pit and the dish washing sink for leakage
or
damage
Clear all fragile items like Water glass, Crockery, and Cups from
the overhead cupboard and cross verify with the stock register
Remove all containers which is used to store sugar, milk powder
etc.,
and cross verify the label for expire date
Check the overhead cupboard for damage and use approved
cleaning solution and green colour microfiber cloth to damp wipe
the internal and external area of the cupboard
6. PANTRY CLEANING SOP
Do not use spray bottle or furniture polish at the pantry cupboard
Damp wipe the worktable with cleaning solution, pay more
attention on the edges. Use doodlebug pad to clean the edges
and wall skirt.
Drain the dish washing sink and apply cleaning solution on sink
and
leave for few minutes
Use scouring pad to remove the gunk from sink and rinse.
Hot water and cleaning agents can be used to cleaning the
utensil, Cutlery, crockery, and glassware
Rinse, wipe and re arrange all pantry materials at the designated
area
Update the stock register and checklist

7. Microwave CLEANINGSOP
Wear appropriate PPE
Take a bowl of water with lemon juice and place inside the microwave
Turn on for 5 minutes to loosen the gunk inside the microwave
Unplug the microwave from the socket
Damp wipe inside the microwave by using green colour microfiber cloth
Do not use any cleaning chemicals inside the microwave
Use green colour microfiber cloth to Damp wipe the door and the
control panel
External body and underneath of microwave can be wiped only with
sponge
scouring pad and damp cloth socked in normal water.
Wipe the moisture with dry cloth or tissue paper for spotless appearance.

Wear appropriate PPE
Unplug the refrigerator from the socket and defrost it
Remove shelves, crispers, and ice trays. Wash them thoroughly with hot
water and detergent and wipe with Green colour microfiber cloth
Remove food items from the refrigerator – this will allow you to clean all
the corners and crevices.
Damp wipe inside of refrigerator with equal parts of vinegar and water.
Vinegar provides acid which destroys mildew.
Wash the interior of the freezer, including the door and gasket, with hot
water and approved chemicals.
Leave the door open for about 15 minutes to allow free air circulation
Rearrange the food with label at the appropriate area.
Check the cable and socket for damage
Avoid using general cleaning chemicals.
9. TOASTER CLEANING SOP
Pull the power plug and let the toaster cool down.
Never immerse the appliance in water or place it in the
dishwasher
Do not steam-clean the appliance.
Do not use oven or grill spray for cleaning.
Remove the crumb tray and wipe it clean.
Remove crumbs under the warming rack with a hard brush.
Cleanthe toaster’s exterior with adampcloth
Do not use strong or abrasive cleaning agents.

10. Electric Hot p l a t e CLEANING SOP
Wear appropriate PPE
Check the cable and socket for damage
Unplug the Hot plate and wait until the equipment comes to
normal temperature
Use a damp sponge to wipe off any cooking spills
Do not use metal cleaning tools to clean the Hot plate
Pour small amount of cooktop cleaner over the cooktop and rub the top
with
paper towel until the surface is clean.
Pay attention on the edges for gunk.
Use a dry cloth to wipe off the cleaner from the cooktop surface.
Use dry cloth to wipe the underneath of the Hot plate
Do not spray water underneath of the hot plate

11. BLENDERCLEANING SOP
Wear appropriate PPE
Check the cable and socket for damage
Unplug the blender and wait until the equipment comes to normal temperature
Clean the product immediately after each use.
Remove plastic lid, blades and spin base from the plastic blender jar.
Use a small brush to remove particles of food lodged underneath the blades.
Clean the exterior surface by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product.
To clean the blender jar, add ¼ teaspoon of approved liquid soap to the blender
jar and fill with warm water.
Rinse the blender jar underneath running water.
Do not place the blender jar and the plastic lid into a dishwasher or extremely
hot
water.
Dry all product parts thoroughly before storing.
Store the product in a clean, dry place with the plastic lid removed from the
blender jar
