zkStudyClub - LatticeFold: A Lattice-based Folding Scheme and its Application...
Folding is a recent technique for building efficient recursive SNARKs. Several elegant folding protocols have been proposed, such as Nova, Supernova, Hypernova, Protostar, and others. However, all of them rely on an additively homomorphic commitment scheme based on discrete log, and are therefore not post-quantum secure. In this work we present LatticeFold, the first lattice-based folding protocol based on the Module SIS problem. This folding protocol naturally leads to an efficient recursive lattice-based SNARK and an efficient PCD scheme. LatticeFold supports folding low-degree relations, such as R1CS, as well as high-degree relations, such as CCS. The key challenge is to construct a secure folding protocol that works with the Ajtai commitment scheme. The difficulty, is ensuring that extracted witnesses are low norm through many rounds of folding. We present a novel technique using the sumcheck protocol to ensure that extracted witnesses are always low norm no matter how many rounds of folding are used. Our evaluation of the final proof system suggests that it is as performant as Hypernova, while providing post-quantum security.

- The first panda's were first originated in China. They are black and white fury animal bears. Panda's mostly and usually eat bamboo of trees. They are about the height of 4 feet in (cm) it would be roughly 120. The panda weights about 220-330 pounds which is roughly 100 kg and over. The panda population nowadays has been going down it was about 1600 in the wild in China.
- The natural habitats for a panda is usually up in mountains or in the forests where bamboo is found and bamboo land areas. The large hi of panda's are usually around hi hi China. Some other panda's are in zoos of other countries.
- Some hunters are seeking panda's but not really knowing what it really is that they have shot this ends up with dead panda's and a threat to extinction. Forest workers that cut trees for wood and such have also cut bamboo down where a natural panda's homeland is. There is also less space for panda's to live in due to high forest they have no home area to live on. This could also mean they are dying out and low on food.
- The best way to save panda's is to create an environment for panda's to live on. Today now they are trying to build a nature protection in order to keep panda's alive. They have also monitored areas of land where panda's are found to keep them safe. YOU! can help by donating money or materials so a panda can have a home.
