Pandas live in the mountainous bamboo forests of China. They are black and white bears that stand three feet tall. Pandas eat 85 pounds of bamboo per day, though their habitat and primary food source are threatened by human activities like deforestation. Female pandas give birth to one or two cubs annually that are born very small, weighing only about 5 ounces.
