This document provides a list of recommended materials for an acrylic painting class, including various paints, mediums, brushes, surfaces, and other supplies. It recommends titanium white, cadmium red, cadmium yellow light, cadmium orange, alizarin crimson, manganese violet, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, burnt umber, and Payne's gray as the most important paints to have. For mediums, it suggests Liquitex medium, flow aid, and glazing medium for acrylics and linseed oil, Gamsol, stand oil, and Liquin for oils. Anything over 11x14” and as large as you would like to go.

Have them cut to 16”x24” or 18”x24”
I do not recommend canvas for a beginner class
We are going to need a minimum of6-8 surfaces to work on.

Materials for this class mightbe expensive,but it IS possible to make greatwork withoutspending a fortune.
Remember,you may not end up using everything and can continue to paintfar into the future. Think of it as an
INVESTMENT! Please buy mid-priced paints when possible.Cheap paints usuallyyield AWFUL and depressing
results thatmay resultin mental anguish.Frustration and tears.Good materials=Good Art.
