The procurement engineering process has 6 stages that take input design and engineering documents through to final equipment production. Stage 1 involves developing specifications and sending RFQs. Stage 2 reviews vendor data. Stage 3 certifies the data. Stage 4 develops final design drawings. Stage 5 does a final design review. Stage 6 produces operation manuals and handles installation, testing, and warranty work.
