The kindergarten in Karmėlava, Lithuania implemented an educational project called "Crossing borders of the kindergarten" to address obstacles to outdoor education like poor weather, unwilling parents, and tired teachers. The project aimed to create new educational environments, make learning more interesting, and strengthen community ties. As part of the project, the children visited local police officers, a historical mound, museum, post office, airport where they saw a fire truck, and a farm where they fed lambs and played in hay with teachers, gaining educational experiences outside the kindergarten walls in 3 sentences or less.
