2. Reema where are we??
Vow what an amazing
place!!
Jai this is Space!!
Look at the planets
3. Hi I am Jai
Lets go to explore our
Universe! I am so excited
What is star?
What is a Planet?
What are Satellites?
What makes up the
Solar System?What is an
active Volcano?
What is Rotation and
Revolution?
What are
Constellations?
What are
aesteroids?
8. MERCURY
Vow!!! See this planet
• It is the smallest planet of
the solar system.
• It is the hottest & closest
to the sun.
• It orbits the sun in 88 days.
• Its temperature is
Day 473 ℃
Night -183℃
• It takes 59 days for rotation
on its axis.
Mercury
9. Believe it or Not!!
In Mercury the Sun rises twice a day
at some times of the year.
If we were living there were would
see the Sun rise about halfway up
the sky then reverse direction and
set, before rising again and passing
across the sky as usual.
10. VENUSHELL PLANETS
Amazing
Fact!!!
Venus is a very very hot planet
(about 460 ℃) . It is hotter then
Mercury because it is covered with
thick atmosphere. Without protection
we can die quickly, and not just from heat
air in Venus is deadly. No spacecraft has
survived for more then few hours.
On Venus the sky is orange. On Mercury
it is black.
Venus spins backwards, so the sun rises
in the West there .
The rain on Venus is made of sulphuric
acid but it boils away before it reaches the
ground.
Average distance from Sun : 108
million km.
Length of year : 225 Earth days
Length of day : 117 Earth days
Messenger is the only spacecraft
to send back data from Mercury.

11. That’s Our Planet
Rema!!
EARTH
Did you know?
• Weight – 6 trillion trillion kg.
• Goes around the sun in one
year(365.24 days).
• Spins on its axis in 24 hours
• Made mostly of iron.
• Atmosphere made mostly of
nitrogen.
Third
Plane
t • It is the third planet from the
sun.The only planet where life
exists.
• 71% is covered with water and
97% of that water is too salty to
drink.
• Temperature at the poles fall as
low as -89 ℃ and in deserts they
can rise to a blistering 58 ℃
• Inside the Earth it gets hotter as
we go deeper. It reaches about
6000 ℃
• In the other direction up in the
air the temperature falls fast as
we can freeze to death just a few
km up.
