4. PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN

products?
Perks of being a wallflower

Camera is a main them
5. TEASERTRAILER
Action, key events, characters, use of text graphics, voice over, etc. Include mood-
board images if it helps illustrate this well.
Make it clear how the teaser emphasizes the aspects you said were part of the
branding (genre, narrative themes, character representation, etc.)
6. POSTER
Our film poster will have some similar conventions of the
poster from "Submarine" this uses the protagonist as the
focal point of the poster. However, we are going to use the
prop of the camera to suggest the importance of this
object within the characters life to also connect to our
TeaserTrailer and Magazine Cover.
This mock up poster is in black and white however we are
not going to use this as the image we found was already in
this setting. We are also using a color scheme of yellow and
blur too create a similar tone to "the Perks of Being a
Wallflower"
7. MAGAZINE COVER
Our Design for our magazine cover is to highlight the
protagonist in the film who has the front page image.
We have usedTotal Film as our magazine company as
they advertise many films (mainly well established)
which connect to the films promotional campaign which
we would like to use to create continuity within our
Promotional Package.
The draft for our Magazine cover uses the same color
scheme of yellow and blue to create a youthful tone
and create a similar to Perks of Being aWallflower.
However, the image which was used for this mock up did
not use the correct lighting colors for the cover instead
we would useYellow and Blue lights to continue with the
continuity of our theme.
8. TARGET AUDIENCE
Teen drama- range from teens to young adults
The themes of friendship attracts a younger audience
May attract a predominantly female audience due to the romantic
factor involved
Both sexes are targeted
May appeal specifically to people that can relate to the storyline e.g
outsiders, introverts, loners. Also could appear to those interested in
photography as it is a main theme of the film
We can target the audience through social media as it is aimed at
teens who are usually on social media
The film Submarine uses one artist for all of the songs in their film
which could've widened the target audience to people that like that
artists music. We could do this too to bring in a different group of
people.
