2. 1. THE OCCULT
REFLEXIVE
 Main ideas: start with controversial/mythical stories of magic in our
local area. Interview believers and non believers of the occult. Talk
about paranormal experiences and psychics. Archive footage of
miraculous events. Superstitions (start with the drains, then lead to
major superstitious events). Believing in the dead, what happens
after death? Try encourage the audience to believe in the occult.
 Target audience: 15-40 year olds.
 Documentarian: Voiceover and on screen
 Similar channel: Really- they have paranormal programmes such as
‘I survived evil’.
 Stylistic ideas: Use juxtaposition in opening sequence, and same font
and music throughout. Use ######

3. 2. IS BREASTFEEDING OFFENSIVE?
REFLEXIVE
 Main ideas: explore views on women breastfeeding in public,
interview mothers, men and teenagers to see if it should be restricted
to home life. Involve FreeTheNipple campaign. Found out the
importance of breastfeeding milk as a nutrient source for children.
Archive footage of news reports, morning shows, tweets and
Instagram's on the topic of breastfeeding.
 Target audience: 18-40 year olds.
 Documentarian: Voiceover and on screen
 Similar channel: BBC1- they show a varied amount of documentaries
 Stylistic Ideas: Same fonts and music throughout, zoom in on
computer screen when looking at social media sites.

4. 5. FASHION INDUSTRY AND ITS EFFECT
ON ANIMAL WELFARE
REFLEXIVE
 Main ideas: Start with animals getting killed and then humans getting
killed. Big media coverage on a human death, then show footage
of women stylishly wearing fur coats with pride. Highlights how selfish
we are. Visit big shops in London selling fur, interview Vegans and try
interview people who wear fur.
 Target audience: 15-40 year olds
 Documentarian: Voiceover and on screen
 Similar Channel: Channel 4- more for the younger generation than
BBC
 Stylistic ideas: Same font and music, use # to engage the audience.
