Happy New Year Everyone!
We are starting off 2014 with a whole host
of demonstrations and hope to be having
a number of new agencies coming on board
here very soon! In addition, we have closed another chapter in our pilot
project by ending the pilot conference calls.
We will be creating an ORMS Advisory Board and are in the process of
developing and finalizing the charter and role that the Board will play.
The Archives will also be contacting all of our participating agencies to
get a progress report and the status of adding additional users from
your agency. We are finalizing our work on the Governor's Office and
plan on having them 100% into ORMS before June 30th.
Finally, ORMS continues to be in the forefront of the Records Manage-
ment Community as evidenced by the number of states making inquir-
ies into possibly joining. Today I did another class for San Jose State
University on ORMS and had quite a bit of interest from the folks in
British Columbia! Maybe Richard and I need to start brushing up on
international contracts!
I look forward to talking with all of you in the very near future and
keep up the good work!

HP TRIM End User Training Update for ORMS
Clients

Happy New Year Everyone!
Last fall we provided you with an update on new training materials
that will be available to ORMS clients.
We’ve completed two End User training videos –
Linking Emails to HP TRIM and Getting Started with the HP
TRIM User Interface.
These videos will be hosted via our playlist on YouTube they have
been pulled temporarily to add narration.
These videos are not publicly searchable and only accessible via
this link. We’ll be adding more as they’re completed.
Still to come:
Creating Records/Moving Records in HP TRIM
Dragging/Dropping Records and/or Files
Searches – both single and filtered searches

out an email informing all
ORMS Agencies of the new
upgrade to TRIM 7.33. Each
agency was sent the CD to
download along with
instructions.
Arikkan will upgrade the server
in January. Any agency that
has not upgraded after the
server is upgraded will not be
able to connect to TRIM.
Please

The ORMS Team continues to work hard to implement TRIM for the ORMS agencies with
more coming onboard! Here are a few updates for our ORMS agencies:

The ORMS Implementation Team has decided to change the monthly
ORMS NewsFlash to be issued quarterly.
All future newsletters will be posted onto this ORMS website’s blog
page. The next ORMS NewsFlash will be issue January 2014.

End Of Pilot Group Conference Call
With the end of the ORMS Pilot program, the ORMS Management Team
will be forming an ORMS Advisory Board.
The Advisory Board will consist of City, County and State Agencies, large
and small. The board will consist of quarterly calls to discuss next steps
and other topics such as upgrades
The ORMS Management would like to thank all of those that have partici-
pated and provided input during our Pilot Program. We are looking forward
to a very productive 2014
