The document discusses the need for greater information sharing across service supply chains. It notes that while production supply chains receive significant attention, service supply chains that support equipment after sale are less studied but can be highly profitable. The document proposes identifying opportunities for collaboration between service providers across industries. It segments industries into categories based on equipment value and availability requirements to identify potential areas of shared challenges and solutions. These categories include high value/high availability equipment like aircraft and medical devices; high value/medium availability like ATMs; and low value/high availability like consumer electronics. The document argues service providers in industries within the same category could benefit from learning best practices from each other.

The document summarizes a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Oregon Records Management Solution (ORMS) and Synergy Data Center partnership. It then provides details on how the ORMS Software as a Service (SaaS) billing model works, charging agencies per user each month even if all users haven't begun using the system. The monthly fees help cover upfront infrastructure costs and are significantly lower than alternatives. The document urges agencies to ensure employees use the system, as getting billed is not a SaaS issue but a management responsibility. It describes alternatives that pose higher risks and costs if electronic records are not properly managed.
The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive function. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help protect against mental illness and improve symptoms.
The document discusses the importance of teaching applied skills like critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity instead of just facts. It recommends using Google tools and services to help students and teachers work smarter by providing access and collaboration capabilities from anywhere. The strategies suggest teachers start by using the tools themselves, then incorporate them gradually into the classroom in a simple way to enhance learning without physical boundaries.

HP TRIM software™ enables you to import and export data to and from your HP TRIM
dataset. TRIMPort is a separate application from HP TRIM software that you can access from
the HP TRIM menu Tools - HP TRIM Administration - Import/Export.
Hannah Wells, from City of Milwaukie, shared her successes with working with TRIMPort
with the ORMS Pilot Group and ORMS Implementation Team.
Hannah shared that she’s worked with tab-delimited files and imported files
via TRIMPort. She says, “It has been a great tool for importing their files to
TRIM from another database.”
The HP TRIM Help File didn’t have all the information she needed for learn-
ing and teaching TRIMPort. With user experience and trial & error, she has
taken the initiative to create a TRIMPort Guide for City of Milwaukie users.
This guide is a great model for how an agency uses TRIMPort to import files!
If an ORMS Agency would like a copy of Milwaukie’s TRIMPort Guide, you
may request it from the ORMS Support Desk to e-mail it to you.
