organizations such as Phoenix Youth and the Rypien
Foundation.
The nonprofit Rypien Foundation helps families with
children diagnosed with childhood cancer. Serving the
Inland Northwest, the foundation relies on public
generosity to fund special programs that establish a
healing environment for children with cancer.

 Donors can make contributions through the
foundation’s website at www.rypienfoundation.org.
Likewise, financial support can be mailed to Rypien
Foundation, and credit card donations are taken over
the phone. Legacy donations, tribute gifts, and donor
advised funds are also accepted. The latter acts like a
charitable savings account, allowing a person to make
a donation through a tax-exempt sponsoring
organization. A person can designate a specific
amount to give to the Rypien Foundation and the
frequency at which he or she would like to contribute.
