to strengthen communities by connecting
charitably minded people to causes that
matter most to them.
We are organized as a 501(c)(3) allowing us
to receive gifts from individuals, business-
es and organizations who wish to support
non-profit organizations, churches, schools
or charitable causes in the Pine Belt.
HOW WE WORK
The PineBelt Foundation accepts a
variety of gifts, including cash, stocks,
life insurance, property and bequests,
providing donors great flexibility and
maximum tax benefits.
OUR SERVICE AREA
Our service area includes the Pine Belt
region including Forrest, Lamar, Jones,
Marion, Perry, Jefferson Davis and Cov-
ington counties.
SET UP YOUR FUND – IT’S EASY
Setting up a Fund at the PineBelt Com-
munity Foundation is easy and inexpen-
sive! Endowment Funds can be started
with as little as $1,000
(and a commitment to grow the Fund to
$10,000 within 10 years). All donations
to the Fund are tax deductible as al-
lowed by law.
How to set up a Fund:
1) decide what to support and the type
of Fund; 2) choose the name of the
Fund;
3) decide what asset(s) to give; and,
4) decide on the method for disburse-
ments.
Investing in your local Community Foun-
dation helps make our community a better
place to live, work and raise our families
now and for generations to come.

in memory of a loved one – leaving a
legacy!

and members of your family or organi-
zation to make grant recommendations.
• Designated Fund – supports specific
organization(s) that you choose.

ganizations that address a specific issue
important to you.
