This document discusses the concept of open-minded faith and religion. It argues that those with religious faith often become defensive when their beliefs are questioned with common sense. It also questions whether the male religious leaders from centuries ago could truly write authoritatively about spiritual matters. The document posits that creating a religion is a way to control and profit from people by convincing them they need the religion. It views faith as something that is only temporarily useful for guidance but that people should seek to move beyond by finding answers without needing faith. The document concludes that true open-mindedness involves being willing to consider ideas outside of one's own religious views.

Remote virtual team management on projects and programs or project managers leadCeline Durnez, PMP PgMP
How to manage a team from a remote position, to create autonomy and performance conditions?
This guide is based on my personal experience of “remote” team member, project manager, program manager and then manager having the challenge to deliver strategic programs and projects with people located in different locations and countries.
I must admit that a remote position is not ideal to manage a co-located team, and travelling 150 days per year is not ideal to manage a 4 kids family !
But I recognize that this situation pushed me to step by step, feedback by feedback, to implement with others “special ways to manage“ to engage ourselves in a collective adventure.
I am sure now that this contributed a lot to our successes , to our mutual development and team spirit.
I hope that my journey can help any employee and/or (project) manager to believe that everything is possible
if you have ambition without being ambitious for yourself,
if you trust people till the point that you are happy to see the team works efficiently without you anymore as a manager !

This means Buddha reached nirvana.
What is nirvana and how does it differ from the Christian idea of heaven?

My everyday approach on life would describe me as an inclusivist. I feel that out of all the religious approaches this one fits perfectly with my tolerant behavior. I've never been the type to force my views on religion or life onto another person. I respect everyone's opinion and chose in religion that speaks to their morals. According to the fourth edition of The World's Religion in America inclusivist may also be known as relativist. This terms mean the truth is relative to the person who holds, so whomever or whatever you put your faith in is the truth to you.
I consider many of my older relatives as exclusivist, they refuse to consider the ideas of another religion as true. I believe the stubborn comes from the type of generation they grew up it, back then you believed in what your parents told you and you stuck to it no matter what anybody else said. This type of attitude makes it hard to have a conversation with them about other religious ideas because they began to become defense, or sometimes even shutdown during a religious conversation.
I do not see my approach on religion needing to change if I was taking a religious course, since I have a very open mind and a tolerant attitude people's views would not offend me rather they are positive or negative. During discussions on religious topics I would be able to take in everyone's emotions and attitudes towards things they dislike or don't agree with.

Exclusivism, inclusivism, pluralism and empathetic interest in other people are extremely interesting approaches or shall we say reactions to religion. We live today in a pluralistic society, we are all different in our thought processes and perspectives. These differences not only define who we are but they can create within us a great appreciation for the world around us. The question is can we approach religion from only one perspective all the time? Or are we allowed to approach religion differently in different situations?
Without doubt in an academic setting the primary objective is to know the nature of things. But this knowledge is what is called Wissenschaft knowledge. That is to know of something what it is. This type of knowledge is in juxtaposition to Kenntnis knowledge. That is to know by experiences. An easy way to understand these two types of knowledge are to look at the statement, “I know Sarah”. Well what exactly does that mean? Do you know her name? Do you know her features? Or have you experienced her and know her deeply?
So when we speak about knowing religion, we should first clarify what type of familiarity are we referring to. Is it possible to truly know a religion and here we mean a Wissenschaft knowledge, by studying it from an empathetic interest of other.

You need to decide for yourself which method works best for you. An alternate to this exists as well; you can choose to let things remain the way they are.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

1. Open Minded Faith
August 26, 2012
Those of ‘faith’ have very open minds!? However, when I talk openly about
their ‘faith’ with common sense questions and observations, they recoil, get
defensive, angry, or go into ‘parroting scripture’! It’s not only the male
religion scribes centuries ago that are to be questioned, but what they
would say today! It doesn’t take a genius to look around and see that
thousands of males AND females have wise things to say about life and love
that seems to cover much more, as well as being very contemporary. No
women wrote back millenniums ago, and we have no idea if these male scribes wrote from
‘wishful thinking’ or if they even had the experiences to write about ‘holy stuff ’.
No writing today is called ‘holy’, why was it back in the dark ages? Did the word ‘holy’ mean
something else, or perhaps todays religion salesmen like the sound? Perhaps they were in
awe that so many years ago, man could actually write his thoughts out? Creating a religion is
to ‘box’ people into a certain mold so as to ‘vampire’ them for power and money while the
‘orchestrator’ convinces himself that he his god’s vessel and these people need him.
Intoxication of the religious ego?
Faith is a temporary thing or state to guide one beyond relying on faith
so that it is no longer needed. Why get stuck on faith if the answers
you seek can be found void of needing faith? Faith is for ‘insecurity’,
and when applied to religion, for those who lead their lives from fear,
ignorance, and being too lazy or stubborn to look beyond what they
have allowed themselves to be programmed with.
The ‘faith’ we hear about relative to religion is a cliche for control of
the gullible and/or wounded. It’s not a bad thing, but getting attached
to it, and always being a seeker while calling yourself a finder (i.e..,
fining the Lord) is good only for the short term until you move beyond, and into the
world of a higher consciousness of your own. Attachment to faith where ‘knowing’ is
available corrupts, and stagnates what could be an open mind.
I meet Christians who have the courage to talk with me at my ‘free speech displays’, and
they are curious what I’m doing. I immediately inform them that displayed here is
information to provoke thinking to open the mind more. Inevitably they complain while
saying they have an open mind. My answer is, ‘I’m sure you do...among other Christians
only’! Faith is a door way to open to seek, and hopefully find what’s sought, then to know.
With awareness ‘faith’s door’ can be opened to reveal what eliminates the need for
faith. Call it truth.
