This document discusses the Open Course Data project at Loughborough University which is exploring using the Terminal Four Site Manager CMS as the canonical source for course marketing information. It performed data mapping between the CMS, LUSI database, and website fields. Next steps include determining if the CMS approach works for those involved in course marketing, identifying other useful data, handling composite fields and program variants, outputting data directly from the CMS as XML, and prospects app development. Simplifying processes more generally is also being considered.
