- There are concerns that the overall quantum of development may be excessive and could impact on the quality of the place. There are queries as to whether the balance between homes and jobs is right and whether the homes target should be increased and the jobs target reduced. How will we deliver genuinely affordable housing given the scale of infrastructure needed There was general acceptance that this is a tall building location; however, there are concerns about the number and location of tall buildings, particularly in close proximity to existing residential areas, heritage assets and open space. The timely delivery of sufficient social infrastructure will be critical to creating a good place Additional sites should be released for non-industrial, or mixed use development along Victoria Road and Old Oak Lane. This would help provide a buffer between existing and future residents and Park Royal.
