After the pandemic destroyed the education system, online education has become more common, but many students lack access due to issues like erratic power, weak internet, lack of devices, and low family income. These problems are especially prevalent in rural India, where there are also disparities in technological development. Both students and teachers often lack the basic knowledge and skills for online education, and students with disabilities are least able to benefit from distance learning. As a result of these issues, many students are dropping out of school. We cannot rely solely on online education and must hope the pandemic ends so students can safely return to traditional offline education.
