•Biggest collective bike ride in Indian history

4. Objective:
• Foster spirit of adventure among the youth with emphasis on Endurance Biking
• Spread awareness about diverse Cultural Heritage of India, especially among today’s
Urban Youth
• Help Tourism in scenic yet untapped corners of the country, with focus on some amazing
Tribal Areas
• Counsel Rural Youth to acquire skills that would promote Rural Tourism
• Help promote various governmental welfare schemes aimed at the people at the
grassroots
• Highlight problems faced by people living in remote areas
• Endorse Aforestation and benefit of Tree Cover
5. How would it be done:
• Ride across India, with individuals and groups of bikers joining and leaving core riders
at different points
• Interact with people, especially the youth, along the way
• Continuously update information, travelogues and pictures of places from where the rally
is passing, on the Internet
• Post reports on dialogues, exchange of views and experiences on onerideoneindia.com
• Interact with local, national and international print and visual media prior,
during and at end of the rally
• Install number plate sized panels with message ‘Save Trees’ all along the way

• Has clocked over 13,000 km in 8 months
• Extensively biked in Garhwal Himalayas
•Rode up to Ladakh after this year’s flash flood to help the
local people rebuild the tourist infrastructure there
