Go Heritage Runs are untimed, family-friendly, fun run-vacations organized at heritage destinations, offering a consistent, high quality experience.
Scenic locations/routes, excellent design and community involvement are key ingredients of our runs. Through these runs, we promote awareness of the heritage sites and bring in direct economic benefits for locals through heritage tourism. Local arts, crafts and cultural heritage are incorporated deeply into our run-vacation experiences.

Including local arts, culture and crafts is a great way to
create a customized, local experience.
Incorporating these into runner finisher medals and t-

We have experience identifying and executing these
customizations.

PROMOTE HERITAGE DESTINATIONS: GHR draw
attention to under-appreciated sites, currently in
Karnataka, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh.
NEW AUDIENCES: Our runs attract newer audiences to
appreciate heritage and experience it through travel.
TOURISM IMPACT: Our runs are known to fill hotels with
high spending tourists, avg. spending – INR 4000-6000
per day. With run-vacations, we enable longer stays
directly increasing spending.
ARTS & CRAFTS: By using local arts and crafts in our
designs, even medals, we promote and directly
contribute to their preservation.
GLOBAL MARKET ACCESS – With our online store, local
arts and crafts are now provided access to global
markets.
Directly
We fund all of GoUNESCO’s global programs which
promote heritage and provide engagement platforms for
laypersons
GLOBAL INTERNSHIPS – Students from 40+ countries in
2/4/6 month online internships. Research, writing and
engagement.
ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS – Volunteer driven, centrally
driven global events held every quarter, in 110+ cities
across the world till now.
HERITAGE PROMOTION – High quality articles produced
and published on gounesco.com covering all things
heritage from across the world.
GoUNESCO provides our runs an “unfair advantage” by
easing permissions and government support which are
critical for public events. It also lends us unimpeachable

“At the outset, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your GoUNESCO initiative. The idea to
incite people’s dialogue on heritage through a participatory on-line game is truly creative and I would like
to congratulate you upon your ingenuity to apply your IT skills for heritage awareness raising, as much as
your dedication to support the UNESCO cause. “

Director and UNESCO Representative to Bhutan, Maldives, India and Sri Lanka
